Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment. In fieldwork including electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance of site equipment, site field reporting, work order completion, and other work as needed. Core Experience Electrical - Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state (REQUIRED). 2+ years' equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training. Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV)chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics is preferred, but not required. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation. We are a local and family owned, third generation solar, battery and generator installation and service company, since 1971.We provide excellent training to aid you in your success. All necessary training, tools and equipment will be provided, including well maintained, fully loaded company trucks. RESPONSIBILITIES Install and service residential and commercial backup battery and electrical systems. Battery commissioning, activations and customer orientations. Residential and commercial Main Panel Upgrades (MPU). Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues. Complete Site Reports and update company Project Management system, as needed. Attend regular team meetings and training. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years electrical experience with background in solar and backup batteries installation and service, especially Enphase. Electricians Training/Journeyman Certification. Understand of NEC codes, electrical schematics, SLDs and plans.
