    BUILD IT- Electrical Technicians are responsible for electrical assembly and interconnection of PRI systems during the assembly process. You will literally “build it” using your skill and knowledge of electrical assembly with minimal oversight. OWN IT- This is a critical role for the company; this position ensures proper operation of the system to make sure it works as designed and meets functional and customer driven specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS Install code compliant raceways, pull and terminate cables, and test control panels and instruments Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, plus all other departments in Manufacturing Ensure that electrical installations comply with Class 1 Division 1 & 2 locations and Intrinsically Safe electrical requirements per the National Electric Code Review electrical drawings and bill of materials required to assemble panels Install, pipe, and wire industrial control panels, piping interconnects, and cable raceways Cut openings, mount parts, drill/tap holes as needed Install all necessary cables and wires to their proper connections inside the enclosures and device end-point terminations Test and troubleshoot completed systems and make necessary corrections Record data and write reports to provide feedback to engineering on future design improvement ideas Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area Understand the operation of all equipment to ensure proper assembly and operation Provide assistance to other areas of Manufacturing as needed Some travel to customer sites to support field service requests Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS Certificate or equivalent education/experience in industrial controls or electrical automation technology; degree in Control Systems Technology, Electrical Technology or equivalent program preferred Demonstrated aptitude for working with electro-mechanical systems such as pumps, piping, pneumatics, PLC's, liquid level controls, etc.; Strong understanding of electrical schematics and PLC's.
