The prime objective of this position is to ensure the integrity and reliability of all plant equipment via timely, planned, thorough and consistent maintenance activities and inspections. The electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical/maintenance processes and PM program inspections throughout the Seattle Grinding Plant. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH * Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business. * Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptales, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, coaxial cables assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical component. * Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. * Coordinates with assigned Foreman and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently. * Maintains assigned equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition. * Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
