Responsibilities:
Participate in active project pre-planning and job preparation
Manage material per job to ensure that teams have the correct material and that material check-out and check-in procedures are being followed.
Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 apprentice electricians
Qualifications:
Master Electrician license/certification
Journeyman license required
4+ years of Licensed Electrician experience (required)

What You Bring:
A high school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years' experience as a skilled trade technician, Comparable Military service experience and training, enrolled in or completion of a skilled trade diploma, certificate, apprenticeship, or associate degree.
Provides own tools, toolbox, and bag.
Proven electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge.
Available to work from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Able to properly operate a forklift, scissor lift, overhead crane, and pallet hand jack.
Stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for up to 8 hours, or more on occasion.
Safely use hand and power tools.

Salary: $41.52/hour (plus $3.50/hour 3rd shift premium)
Job Type: Full Time
Industrial Maintenance Electricians are responsible for constructing, installing, diagnosing, repairing and performing preventative maintenance for all electrical and electronic equipment.

Examine machinery to identify sources of malfunctions or performance deficiencies, deduce corrective course of action and implement repair plans.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, program logic diagrams and other instructions.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot electric distribution equipment including transformers, circuit protection devices, switch gear, load center panels and bus duct.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot electric control equipment including relay logic panels, programmable controllers, and solid-state control devices.
Use test equipment to troubleshoot electrical and control circuits and electrical components.
Maintain general lighting systems. Replace lamps as needed.
Assist in training fellow electricians and apprentices.
Keep work area and equipment neat, clean and orderly.
Adhere to safety practices and policies.
Perform other work as requested by Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
• Install electrical wiring, circuits, panels, switches, lighting systems, and other electrical components in commercial buildings such as offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities.

Your Impact
As an E&I Journeyman, you will be essential to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production and facilities equipment. Your technical expertise in electrical systems and instrumentation will directly support production uptime and safety standards at our manufacturing facility.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair low and high-voltage circuits
Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using schematics, blueprints, and testing tools
Replace motors, switches, meters, photo-eyes, and other electrical components
Analyze and correct issues in PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
Calibrate instruments for flow, pressure, temperature, and other variables

Responsible for project leadership and direction of implementation of Maintenance projects and work orders.
Develop and manage projects as assigned from inception through completion.
Provide expert technical guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced Maintenance Associates, acting as a resource for complex technical inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of daily equipment usage, parts dispensed, flow meters, and work orders using maintenance software, facilitating the identification of replacement parts and estimation of repair costs.
Interpret and understand electrical and mechanical prints to ensure accurate and effective maintenance and repairs.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot various electrical components, including transformers, pressure sensors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Conduct daily rounds for Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance as required and collaborate with external vendors for facility and equipment repairs.
Assist with wastewater treatment responsibilities based on facility needs.
Monitor operational areas and provide recommendations for cost reduction initiatives.
Support operators in optimizing equipment performance to maximize productivity, and promptly identify, document, and address equipment defects to maintain operational efficiency.
Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, ensuring proper isolation of stored energy with appropriate testing equipment.
Complete daily facility maintenance tasks and troubleshoot problems as they arise to minimize downtime.
Promote 6S principles within the maintenance department to enhance organization and efficiency.
Perform repairs on facility infrastructure, piping, equipment, hoses, nozzles, pressure guns, and other components to ensure smooth operations.
Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts as necessary to support maintenance activities.
Conduct welding and fabrication repairs to maintain equipment functionality and safety.
Demonstrate proficiency in using all fabrication equipment, including lathes, mills, and welding machines.
Utilize mechanical prints to identify parts requiring ordering and provide educated knowledge on mechanical systems.
Execute advanced preventative maintenance tasks, including oiling, greasing, lubricating, belt changes, valve replacements, and minor adjustments.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all equipment within the production area.
Provide expertise in refrigeration systems and conduct system walk-throughs to ensure proper functionality.
Proficiency in understanding and following written or spoken English instructions.
Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Ability to work with various food products, including pork, dairy, soy, wheat, egg, shellfish, nut products, and fish.
Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Support the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology, contributing to autonomous maintenance initiatives.
Utilize CMMS Systems-
Input work hours into the CMMS system to maintain accurate records of labor allocation.
Complete work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks within the CMMS to ensure timely completion.
Generate work orders for identified equipment defects to initiate necessary repairs.
Audit existing PM schedules and provide feedback for improvement to enhance maintenance efficiency.
Request all required replacement parts and equipment through the CMMS to sustain uninterrupted production.
Conduct inventory control activities to effectively manage spare parts and equipment inventory levels.
Execute and assess current PM tasks, providing feedback to the Maintenance Manager or team leader for continuous improvement.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in using eMaint and leverage its features to streamline maintenance processes.
Research and develop new PM procedures to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
All other duties and/or responsibilities as requested or required:
Comprehend and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Compile and communicate end-of-shift downtime reports to document equipment malfunctions or production interruptions effectively.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years or older.

About The Opportunity
Provide plant support by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment electrical and mechanical systems to maintain a safe, clean, efficient work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Three plus years' electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, power transmission, test instruments and instrumentation, VFD's, PLC's, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction.
Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides.
Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.
