Responsibilities
As a BIM Engineer your key responsibilities are to be involved in the entire phase of construction including BIM modeling and AutoCAD design.
Creation of BIM Models and drawings through all phases of the project - schematic design, design development, and the creation of construction documents. Applicants must be experienced in the development of construction documents and all their component parts-details and schedules
BIM coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up
Generate finished electrical design AutoCAD drawings, manage the drawing file storage system
Negotiate and price all owner change orders while managing project costs through the ongoing evaluation of
labor, material, and equipment
Forecast and analyze electrical construction costs, exposures, and profits through completion
Supervise and mentor the project team while overseeing field operations and engineering process and procedures
Direct preparation of a project schedule and continually review to make sure the project schedule is adhered to or modified as necessary
