Reporting to the Engineering Service Manager, the Process Engineer will oversee process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements to hold up a manufacturing organization. Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies. Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements. Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
What a typical day looks like:
Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
Work to maximize efficiency and productivity by identifying inefficiencies, developing new systems, and ensuring that operations run smoothly and to standards
Gather, analyze, and interpret production data, cost analyses, and other relevant information to identify trends, solve problems, and develop reports on process improvements
Improving plant processes by optimizing people, materials, and information flow
High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Review processing methods.
Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry.
Design the overall factory layouts and workflows
Use of CAD and Simulation software preferred.
Lean Six Sigma/DRM Green Belt highly

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Total Industrial Engineer supports the plant's leadership in achieving financial and operational targets. Leads cross-functional team to implement continuous improvement activities following TPS principles.
ROLES
Establish and expand TPS activity to visualize production progress and improve GENBA management for throughout kaizen.
Develop and implement KAIZEN plans to eliminate waste based on JIT techniques to improve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
Introduce JIT tools and TPS principles from the design phase of product and processes to realize quick target achievement and future kaizen potential.
Challenge and identify areas to kaizen the job's processes and systems.
Develop kaizen leaders in the plant to increase TPS knowledge throughout the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote and initiate TPS learning through one on one coaching and teaching.
