Job Summary Operates and maintains boilers, chillers, generators and associated support systems. Responsibilities Essential Functions Monitors control screens and observes various meters and gauges to ensure equipment is operating properly. Starts, stops and switches over boilers as appropriate. Cleans and repairs boilers, blow tubes and discharge sediment, and pumping equipment. Starts and stops chillers to maintain setpoints and efficiency. Checks and monitors cooling towers and regulates feed water. Keeps appropriate logs for chemical treatment to boiler and cooling system water. Conducts and documents generator testing. Operates switchgear to regulate and transfer power loads. Completes assigned preventative and corrective maintenance work orders and ensures work order data is captured in TMS.
