We seek an Additive Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design, process development, and qualification of additively-manufactured rocket hardware. The Role Develop, qualify, and produce additive-manufactured (AM) metal parts for propulsion, structures, and subsystems. Optimize AM designs: design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), thermal-mechanical analysis, post-process workflows, non-destructive inspection, and certification. Collaborate with materials, structures, manufacturing, and design teams to reduce cost, lead time, and improve performance. Set process controls, parameter development, build-book documentation, qualification plans, and manufacturing readiness. Drive iterative improvements, material science evaluations, cost-down strategies, and supply-chain integration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering. 2+ years of experience in metal additive manufacturing, preferably in aerospace, defense, or complex systems manufacturing. Experience with DfAM, CAD/CAE, thermal/structural analysis, post-processing, inspection, and qualification workflows. Familiarity with powder-bed fusion, directed-energy deposition, hot isostatic pressing (HIP), heat treatments, and AM part certification.
