Plan, develop and implement quality and manufacturing process changes that yield improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); production efficiencies, yields and rates. Provide support on any production/product/quality issues as required. Evaluate equipment and process capabilities and make recommendations on equipment design and selection. Lead/direct the installation and start-up of new processes and equipment. Develop a rapport with multiple Plant Leadership Teams, QA Team, and R&D personnel. Coordinate QA efforts with R&D and vice versa. Pilot Plant Support (10%) Operates and ensures pilot plant machines/production equipment is prepared for operation and installed following protocols and procedures and performs regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency and ensures are functioning to specifications.
