RESPONSIBILITIES: Process Development Project Management - ensuring completion from start to finish Supports and/or leads product launch activities Review engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services Define how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency Develop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production Confer with clients concerning product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians QUALIFICATIONS: This position is open to individuals who have worked as a direct employee in a manufacturing site. Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field strongly preferred and/or at least 5 years of engineering-related experience in an assembly manufacturing environment Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) Knowledge of lean manufacturing and experience with identifying and leading lean continuous improvement events Experience with automation development and implementation Knowledge and preferred experience with additive manufacturing technologies and processes Familiarity with industry standard equipment Familiar with Automotive Industry standards and requirements, i.e. IATF 16949 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources) Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes Strong oral and written communication skills, able to provide clear, concise information to customers, internal teams, and management Able to collaborate and lead effectively with cross-functional teams WHY CHOOSE DYNAMIC? Full-time Description Responsible for the creation, revision, and control of manufacturing and standard work documentation. Applying lean and six sigma tools to eliminate waste, improve quality, and create continuous flow in all areas of manufacturing. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and drive process improvement projects for improved manufacturing processes. Develop, revise, and control manufacturing documentation such as visual aids, work instructions and standard work procedures. Product manage NPI (New Product) between Engineering, Programming, Production, Quality, Planning, and Customer Service. Facilitate meetings and milestones that are monitored on a weekly basis. Communicate technical issues to the customers. Works closely with operators to audit manufacturing documentation, machine programs and time standards to ensure data accuracy, process repeatability, and product quality is maintained. Use CAD software (SolidWorks) to develop models or assemblies for in-process documentation. Use CAD software (SolidWorks) to perform base level model analysis provided by customers. Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to maintain Part information, Methods of manufacturing, and Bill of Materials. Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to analyze data for scrap, and margin analysis. Performs other related duties assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: REQUIRED Associate or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering preferred but not required based on experience. Experienced with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Multi-tasker with manufacturing engineering background and strong problem-solving skills Experienced lean and six sigma methodologies and tools Read and understand blueprints and G.D&T. This position is responsible for Overhead Transmission Line Engineering Design Standards including voltages of 765kV, 345kV, 138kV & 69kV. T&S Standards include Engineering Practices, Engineering Standard Practices, Material Specifications, Construction Specifications and Generic Design Drawings. This consists of various responsibilities including reviewing, updating, and facilitating the development of T&S design standards, while working closely with the T&S groups to ensure effective standard implementation. Provides technical expertise to strategic, legislative and operational decisions. This position collaborates with the other Exelon companies and is involved in creating, updating, and applying internal/industry design standards and technology in a specialized area of expertise. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (2) (3) * Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems. * Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory * Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices. * Knowledge of complex field test equipment. * 4-7 years of professional engineering experience (1) (3) (See Note). * Broad knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes methods, practices, and advanced engineering principles necessary to perform very complex or unique assignments for a specific * Minimum of two related career experiences (4) (i.e., changes in technical job responsibilities, which may or may not include a change in department) OR * Engineer in Training OR * 50% complete (by hours) with advanced technical degree, M.B.A. or Project Management Certification * (1) Master's degree in Engineering reduces the OJT experience requirement by 1 year.
