Your responsibilities will include:
+ Assembling and wiring completely aircraft electrical, radio, and radar units such as main junction and terminal boxes, main engine disconnect plug, main control, switch panels, radio panels, and instrument panels
+ Completing hookup of wiring, flexes, and cables, and troubleshooting electrical and radio assemblies having multiple interconnected units and accessories
+ Forming and running harnesses, breaking out and terminating wiring to terminal points where wire routing and location of electrical units and accessories are established by jig board layouts
+ Making continuity checks \(including necessary operation\) of above assemblies and harnesses as required, and selling same to inspection
+ Fabricating completely hi\-voltage radio and radar cables that require the soldering of multiple wires, shields, tubes, connectors, pins, washers, spacers, and cores

Key Responsibilities
Operate a wide range of fabrication tools including:
5-axis CNC mills and lathes

Prepare CAM programs in Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar tools.
Work from SolidWorks models and technical drawings to produce high-tolerance parts.

Assist in maintaining, upgrading, and tuning machines and shop infrastructure.
Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews and provide direct feedback to engineers.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience in a fabrication or prototyping shop environment.
Intermediate experience with CAM software such as Fusion 360 CAM, SolidWorks CAM, Onshape CAM, or FeatureCAM.
Proficient with modern CNC machine operations and part inspection.
Working knowledge of SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools).
Ability to interpret and execute mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Familiarity with common materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, plastics, etc.) and their machining characteristics.
