DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:
The person hired for this position will primarily perform health & safety (H&S) services including industrial hygiene (air contaminant, noise, etc.) surveys in various industries (e.g., aerospace, manufacturing, and pulp and paper); indoor air quality surveys; health and safety written program development, safety risk assessments; safety training, and other similar services
Analyze data, prepare data tables, reporting, and figures.
Contribute to authored technical reports.
An elevated level of travel throughout the Southeast region and continental US depending on client/project needs.
Other duties as assigned.
50% domestic travel
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
BS Degree with a focus on Industrial Hygiene (ABET Accredited highly preferred)
0-3 years of experience required
Fervent desire to earn the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
Industrial Hygiene experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic
Strong work ethic, responsible, and dependable
Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and diligence
This position requires analytical thinking, initiative, and accountability.
Professional certifications are incentivized and highly encouraged.

LDAR/Environmental Technician
Canton, OH
You will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs and other regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting.
This full-time position requires a blend of strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, along with 45% travel to sites within the region. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods, as well as an ability to work comfortably at heights.

General Summary -We seek a Safety Technician to assist with program updates and provide safety support to construction operations. This entry-level position is designed to introduce the employee to the safety field. The Safety Technician will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Safety Director. The position requires working collaboratively with field operations to support a safe work environment for Team Members while using independent judgment to resolve safety-related issues. This is a full-time position for an individual working out of our Plantsville office in Connecticut. There is no remote option. Salary range will depend upon experience.
Qualifications
OSHA 10-hour construction certificate required.
A bachelors degree in a safety-related field is strongly preferred.
Experience in heavy civil construction, transportation, or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of general construction safety and health regulations, including OSHA.
Experience with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:
Complies with, enforces, and actively promotes all corporate safety policies and procedures
Assists the Safety Department in managing the overall corporate safety program by coordinating testing, scheduling and tracking training, assisting with reports and project documentation, tracking accident/incident/near miss reports/safety audits, other related safety activities, and recordkeeping of associated documents.
Assists projects in work planning and development of job hazard analysis and safe work procedures.
Assist with site safety inspections, accident/incident investigations (including root cause analysis), industrial hygiene assessments, and safety audits on active construction projects.
Prepares/processes daily and weekly reports on all safety activities.
Assist with safety orientations and training in small and large group environments
Performs additional assignments as required by the Company's needs or as otherwise directed.
