Role description:
Arcadis is currently seeking an Industrial Hygiene & Safety (IH&S) Field Technician to join our IH&S community of practice team and provide services in the Midwest area. This position requires a hard-working, safe, efficient and dedicated employee that is excited to receive on the job training and expand their skill set. Candidates must be willing and able to travel and work some nights and weekends depending on the project needs. Travel will often be within Michigan but may also be to surrounding States or elsewhere in the U.S. as needs arise
Role accountabilities:
* Performing regulated material (asbestos, lead, etc.) surveys, air sampling and project supervision
* Performing indoor air quality investigations for mold, dust, silica, etc.
* Completing environmental sampling
* Conducting water intrusion investigations
* Conducting Health & Safety inspections and oversight
* Construction oversight during excavation, construction, demolition, and renovation
* Environmental Site Assessments, Phase I and Phase II, Treatment System Operation and Maintenance, groundwater and soil sampling
* Preparing technical reports
Qualifications & Experience:
