The Journeyman Millwright is instrumental in ensuring our machinery is in top condition, enhancing our operational efficiency, and maintaining our reputation for quality. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a proven track record of maintaining industrial machines such as boilers, chillers, compressors, regenerative thermal oxidizers, and various water purification systems. This position works with little supervision, must be capable of working independently, and adhere to all safety regulations.
This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Maintenance Department, located in Pensacola, Florida and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Fabricates repair parts and structures by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Performs welding repairs when needed. Use various hand or power tools for measuring, cutting, welding, threading, grooving, bending, soldering, assembling, joining, and installing pipes, valves, and fitting.
Maintains, dismantles, repairs, and replaces mechanical and hydraulic components (e. g. bearings, seals, details, carriers, etc.) on industrial machinery such as shafting, motors, generators, air compressors, engines, pumps, cylinders, gears, couplings, linkages, ball screws, coolant systems and filters, and combustion equipment and valves.
Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures. Plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools or assemblies using blueprints, sketches, or models following OSHA and PSM safety regulations.
Who you are:
5+ years relevant millwright/apprenticeship/boilermaker work experience
Must be able to weld and fabricate.
Must be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

Ukrop's Homestyle Foods is seeking to hire a Lead Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at our Fresh Kitchen located at 600-A Southlake Boulevard. Seeking to fill a 7a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift to include some weekends, with some overtime, required.
The Lead Mechanic is responsible for leading the daily activities of the maintenance team at the Central Kitchen. This position supports the Maintenance Supervisor for Ukrop's Homestyle Foods on a daily basis.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:
+ Assisting to ensure Plants manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and operating at full production capability.
+ Managing daily activities of the in-house maintenance mechanics, including weekly schedules, training, staffing and execution of work.
+ Scheduling preventative maintenance procedures for facilities and equipment.
+ Assisting with purchasing and adhering to departmental budget.
+ Assisting in building a skilled maintenance team, including training on mechanical and electrical apparatuses.
+ Assisting in the maintenance of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Ensuring the timely completion of plant and office work orders.
+ Acting as liaison between maintenance and manufacturing.
+ Assisting Maintenance Supervisor in evaluating performance and feedback to direct reports.
+ Participates in investigations to resolve performance issues and ensures feedback and, if needed, corrective action, is provided.
+ Providing an atmosphere consistent with company values and conducive to Associate goals.
+ Proactively identifies employee relations issues and immediately escalates issues to Maintenance Supervisor or Human Resources in Associate conflict resolution.
+ Assisting Maintenance Supervisor with daily shift change meetings.
+ Supporting GFSI and FSMA. Assists in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and that we are in compliance with all aspects of HACCP plan, SSOPs, and GMPs throughout the plant. Reports all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor.
+ Supporting an accident free work culture. Assisting in accident prevention and risk identification. Collaborating with Safety Manager to minimize risk exposure from equipment, or ergonomics.
Qualification/Requirement
+ Ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
+ Strong understanding of process maintenance.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload.
+ Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Strong electrical machine control troubleshooting skills.
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and coworkers and follow safety and chemical guidelines.
+ Ability to work in a time-driven atmosphere and follow strict timelines.
+ Ability to pay attention to detail.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules as needed for production and/or holidays.
+ Ability to be "on-call" for after-hour calls and alarms.
Education/Experience
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or eight years of continuous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience is desired.
+ Proficiency in the use of hand tools.
+ Strong electrical machine control troubleshooting skills.
