As an Industrial Painter, you will have the responsibility of executing sophisticated painting projects, adding colorful protection to structures that play pivotal roles in Ohio's industries. Duties and Responsibilities
Perform detailed surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and masking of areas not to be painted, ensuring surfaces are ready for optimal application of coatings.
Apply industrial coatings using a variety of application methods including brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers to achieve professional-grade finish and durability.
Operate and effectively troubleshoot pumps, airless spray equipment, and other painting apparatuses used in the completion of painting tasks.
Adhere diligently to safety protocols established by OSHA while consistently following company procedures for industrial painting activities.
Inspect equipment, maintain cleanliness and functionality, and perform minor repairs and calibrations to ensure constant readiness and safety.
Collaborate with the project team to understand project specifications, discuss progress, and deliver on project milestones.
Continuously seek to improve painting techniques and suggest innovations to reduce time and cost while enhancing quality and safety metrics.
Manage painting supplies inventory, submitting purchase requests and ensuring that the essential tools and materials are always available.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in industrial painting.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial painting or similar roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of high-performance coatings and application techniques.
Proficiency with various types of painting equipment, including high-volume airless sprayers and conventional spray systems.
In-depth knowledge of different types of coatings, understanding their applications, benefits, and optimal usage scenarios, particularly with respect to epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in every project task.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer's guidelines for mixing and applying coatings.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations pertinent to the handling and disposal of painting materials and waste.
Effective communication skills, capability to work well in a team setting and to maintain professional relations with clients and colleagues.

About the Role:
A day in the life: Our Industrial Painter would have meticulous attention to detail. You would be responsible for applying the coating to metal components with either a brush and roll method or an airless spray rig.
On a given day, as an Industrial Painter, you will:
Prepare the metal components by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying appropriate primers to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
Apply a wide range of coatings, including paints, enamels, epoxies, and sealants, using various methods such as spray, brush, and roller to achieve desired finishes and protective properties.
Maintain and clean painting equipment, spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other tools, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for optimal results and safety.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation.

Schedule & Travel:
This division currently has two shifts in our shop in Circleville, Ohio. We have a day shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. As well as a night shift from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. We would discuss your availability.

JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job): The painter is responsible for preparing various electrical control panels, consoles, and junction boxes to be sprayed with wet paint. The painter is also responsible for moving the equipment to the designated painting areas. A customer may also request custom color(s).
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:
Operates surface preparation equipment and prepares surfaces properly for painting.

Summary
As an Auto Body Painter, you ll prep metal, plastic, and composite surfaces and apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat to meet CollisionRight standards for color match, texture, and durability.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Perform proper surface prep; clean, sand, and prime as required
Mask glass/trim; protect non-paint areas to minimize tape lines/overspray
Spray primer, base, and clear (waterborne or solvent systems)
Mix & match paints; verify color/effect prior to application
Buff/sand finished panels to finish standards
Assist with minor body work to prepare vehicles for paint
Use required PPE; follow OSHA and hazardous-waste procedures
Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and related equipment
Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
Qualifications
1 3+ years professional auto refinish experience (MSO/dealership/independent)
Strong knowledge of surface prep, masking, priming, and refinish workflows
Proficient with spray guns/equipment and color matching
Excellent eyesight/color perception; high attention to detail
Safety-minded; follows written and verbal instructions
Able to lift 35 lbs routinely (occasionally 70+ lbs); comfortable with climbing/stooping/kneeling/crouching
