Industrial pharmacist example responsibilities.

• Manage sample inventory via in-house laboratory information management system (LIMS) and implement additional systems for sample and chemical organization.
• Perform laboratory qualification of reference standards, including control substances according to GMP requirements.
• Perform research under ISO9001 certification, and produce marketing literature within FDA regulatory guidelines.
• Design experiments and statistically analyze data to comply with FDA requirements for stability, specificity, and accuracy.
• Key activities include process chemistry development, synthesis of intermediates, compound purification and structure identification, and comprehensive scientific documentation.

• Receive and verify drug orders from physicians using computerize physician order entry system, including cancer chemotherapy orders.
• Implement updated pediatric chemotherapy-induce nausea and vomiting (CINV) guidelines and policy for use in all pediatric patients receiving chemotherapy.
• Provide clinical assistance to the RPh staff in addition to case processing.
• Maintain sterile product manufacturing processes to comply with federal, state and local regulations and JCAHO standards.
