The duo raised US $1 million from 80 investors and opened the first Industrious center in Chicago in 2013.
Watson, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, joined Morgan in January 2014 as the Senior Vice President of National Property Management.
Watson also serves as Vice President at Large for the Houston Apartment Association and has also served as an HAA Board Member since 2017.

In February 2021, Dallas-based CBRE Group Inc. invested US $200 million to take a 35% stake in Industrious and also transferred its own flexible workspace brand Hana, which operates 10 locations in the United States and U.K., to Industrious as part of the transaction.
