The CMS Business Development Consultant is responsible for consulting and partnering with named Service Providers and Network Operators in the US to drive long-term growth for both Ciena and our Service Provider partners. Business Development

Sales Enablement
Develop a sales training and enablement strategy for multiple partners and customers that is non-technical and focused on evangelizing Ciena solutions that are built on the partners service platform(s).
Develop content and lead sales training events to help relevant Direct and Indirect Sales teams grow Monthly Recurring Revenue.
Monitor and report progress against business targets throughout the duration of engagements.
The Must Haves:
Must have at least 8 years' experience working in or with Telecommunication Service Providers in Sales, Channel Sales, Business Development, Product Management or Consulting.
Experience in the Telecommunications eco-system including Global Carriers, Tier 1 Operators, Tier 2 Operators, Regional Service Providers, MSOs, Submarine Operators, Indirect channel, DC Operators and Cloud Providers.

What you will be doing:
* Project Coordination & Scheduling - Oversee the overall coordination of complex integration/deployment projects, define activities and required resources, estimate efforts, and track progress while ensuring adherence to detailed schedules.
* Project Tracking & Reporting - Monitor project status, track technical issues, and provide clear and effective reporting on milestones, deliverables, expectations, dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, escalations, and overall progress.

* End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management - Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from demo and field trials to integration planning and deployment, ensuring smooth execution across all phases.
* Independent Project Execution & Collaboration - Work autonomously to manage daily project activities, maintain collaboration forums, and track overall program success criteria through performance metrics and reports.
* Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement - Develop and maintain standardized processes for project execution, leveraging best practices from PMO to enhance efficiency and scalability.
* Project Documentation & Compliance - Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring adherence to both standard and customer-specific requirements to support seamless execution and compliance.
What you should have:
* Strong leadership, stakeholder and customer expectation management skills
* Experience in project execution, monitoring, and control
* Experience with budget tracking and risk management, ability to identify and manage risks and mitigation strategies
* Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent;
* Deep knowledge in Project Management and PMI standards
* Ability to organize own time, meet deadlines and targets, time management
* Strong negotiations skills in both technical and commercial areas
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate with clients and geographically disbursed project teams to deliver solutions that support the business requirements and align with Harmonic objectives and processes
* Language - English at advanced level / Another European language is a plus
* Understanding of networking systems hardware and software design is a plus
* Confirmed PM experience in telecom customer's projects 2-3years or Service delivery manager experience >3years
* Engineer background in telecom area (DataCom, Core, Radio, Transport network, IT, Quality Assurance and so on), this can be a starting point of candidate career
* Very welcome PMP, PMI, ITIL, Agile or other certification as well as professional ones CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or similar from other vendors

This position requires travel not more than 20% of time
Pay & Benefits
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $70,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, location, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

The Senior Pricing Manager will play a key strategic role in shaping and executing the F5's pricing strategy across its technology infrastructure and security portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine pricing frameworks and models for hardware, software, cloud, and managed security services to balance competitiveness and profitability
Process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data on competitors, market and business using a combination of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, ML/AI, elasticity, and scenario planning to develop actionable insights and evaluate trade-offs in support of strategic decisions
Analyze competitive pricing, industry trends, and customer segmentation to inform go-to-market and monetization strategies
Establish KPIs, dashboards and visualization using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track pricing performance, margin impacts, and customer behavior; identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Partner and act as a trusted adviser to Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations in aligning pricing strategies with business objectives and new product launches.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Pricing analytics, revenue management, or business strategy in Enterprise infrastructure or security hardware and software
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau)
Proven ability to manage complex pricing models and communicate insights to executive leadership
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Finance teams
Preferred:
MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative or business discipline
Experience with subscription-based, usage-based and perpetual pricing models, channel and buying programs for Enterprise customers
Familiarity with enterprise technology infrastructure and cybersecurity markets
