Joseph P. Lacher, Jr. has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since November 2015. Mr. Lacher previously served in other senior executive roles in the insurance industry. From November 2009 to July 2011, Mr. Lacher was President of Allstate Protection, a unit of Allstate Corporation, where he led the company’s property and casualty offerings serving more than seventeen million American households. Prior to Allstate, Mr. Lacher spent eighteen years at The Travelers Companies, Inc., most recently serving as Executive Vice President - Personal Insurance from 2002 to 2009 and additionally as Executive Vice President - Select Accounts from 2006 to 2009.

John C. Roche became President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2017. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and President, Hanover Agency Markets since February 2017. Until February 2017, Mr. Roche was Executive Vice President, President Business Insurance since 2013 and head of Field Operations since November 2014. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President, President Business Insurance from 2009 to 2013 and has held the following other positions since joining the Company in 2006: Vice President, Field Operations and Vice President, Underwriting and Product Management, Commercial Lines. From 1994 to 2006, Mr. Roche served in a variety of leadership positions at St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc., last serving as Vice President, Commercial Accounts. Previously, Mr. Roche served in a variety of underwriting and management positions at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company.

Mr. Robert A. DiMuccio, also known as Bob, CPA serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Amica Life Insurance Company. Mr. DiMuccio has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Amica Mutual Insurance Company since February 2005. He joined Amica Mutual Insurance Co. in 1991 and served as its Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Jonathan Adkisson is a seasoned insurance executive with a passion for delivering results through an obsessive focus on the customer, relentless pursuit of cost efficiencies, and a servant-leadership style that brings the best from his team. As president of Esurance from 2015 to 2020, he led the profitability turnaround while continuing the impressive growth of Allstate’s $2 billion stand-alone subsidiary. In 2020, Jonathan became General Manager of Allstate Direct, as Allstate shifted to use the Esurance people and capabilities to drive even stronger growth in the direct channel by leveraging the Allstate brand.

Since 2010, Combs has been an investment manager at Berkshire Hathaway. He worked at Progressive Insurance Company before going to graduate school to begin an investing career.
