Job Summary:
The Mission Specialist plays a critical role in supporting mission-critical operations, focusing on the planning, coordination, and execution of specialized projects. This position ensures mission success by leveraging technical expertise, coordinating between cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all operational and mission objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Mission Planning and Execution
Provide joint cryptographic troubleshooting and support for all users of the Milstar and AEHF systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and logistics, to ensure mission readiness and efficiency.
Provide updates to the AEHF Satellite Mission Control Subsystem Over the Air Rekey and ECU tables as new terminals are fielded.
Ensure all mission-related activities comply with regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
Execute system administration functions for the Radiant Mercury Boundary Protection Device which requires Security Plus certification.
Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Analyze mission data and provide actionable insights to improve mission performance.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in mission execution.
Prepare detailed mission reports, including after-action reviews and lessons learned for continuous process improvement.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Act as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders during mission-related activities.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members on mission procedures and technical systems.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mission-critical technologies, systems, and methodologies.
Provide technical assistance to the Controlling Authority and Space Operations Command to all Milstar/AEHF cryptographic issues.
Risk Management and Safety
Support risk management initiatives by identifying potential operational risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Ensure that all mission activities adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance required, TS/SCI Eligible
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field required, or combination of experience and education and Security Plus certification.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in COMSEC and crypto, military satellite operations, or a related field.

Job Summary:
Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Software Engineer to work on-site at Schriever SFB, near Colorado Springs, CO. We Liaison with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and Satellite Control Network (SCN) to support our program, and to provide satellite support services to our mission critical customer. This program conducts real time on-orbit support, launch ascent support and End-of-Life operations for all NOPS (NRO Operations Squadron) missions.
The Software team works in a state-of-the-art dynamic environment to develop new containerized software and maintain existing software for different needs on the program.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain software used to establish connections for status & control of ground equipment.
Provide Java software development. Perform all aspects of software engineering support required to implement systems.
Also maintain software that handles scheduling of on-orbit contacts, and orbit calculations.
Write software that supports launch operations with trajectory calculations for the SpaceX and ULA vendors.
Provide assistance for team members primarily on Java development and utilizing the Spring Boot framework.

What you'll do:
* Design, implement, and manage security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption mechanisms to ensure the organization's networks and systems remain secure.

What you'll need to succeed:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer with a specialization in designing and building implementations of required security controls and implementing continuous monitoring and auditing of solutions for compliance with security controls.
* Strong skills in specifying and implementing log collection into tools such as Splunk, and performing querying and analysis of aggregated logs to identify security-relevant anomalies or risks.
* Strong experience in implementing security controls from government regulatory frameworks and security standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP).
* Experience with implementing controls for data-centric solutions in the cloud within IL5 to IL6+ environments.
* Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
* Proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis techniques.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* CISSP or equivalent certification to support DoD 8140 requirements.
* Must have an active TS, and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI CI Poly
SALARY RANGE $156,000 - $193,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred; A combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 2 years in model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
