Develop and maintain department and project forms such as tracking of permits and other time sensitive items.
Assist in developing Power Point presentations for reporting project status to OTP management. Develop and organize material orders, receipt of materials, construction packets and other documents as needed for various projects. Prepare timelines and other types of high-level schedules. Development and revise forms for quality assurance/quality control, project tracking, job book development and other actions as they arise. Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.


For this role, applicants must be highly proficient at all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Power Point, Access, and Word. Must have good organizational skills, project management, interpersonal communications, organization, and prioritization skills, as well as data collection, graphing, and analytical skills.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the school counseling team, under the direction of the resource counselor and school principal and/or designee, develops and implements a comprehensive college and career information program for students in Grades 9-12 and maintains the College and Career Center. Utilizing technology, collects, reviews, selects, maintains, and distributes a wide variety of information concerning colleges, trade schools, vocational and employment opportunities, and career information. Assists students in all aspects of the college planning process including the application process, testing, financial aid, and scholarships. Supports the work of the school counseling program by meeting with students and parents individually and/or in groups on career planning and college entry process. Builds and maintains rapport with college, career, military, and the business community in order to gather and disseminate current information and resources.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the college selection, testing, application, and admissions process; knowledge of vocational/technical/career school programs and admissions. Ability to access college and career information from a variety of sources, including the internet. Total Solutions, Inc. (TSI) is recruiting for an Information Coordinator to provide project
coordination and information management support for the Office of the Executive Secretariat, at NASA
Headquarters in Washington, DC . This is a hybrid position, onsite 3 days per week . Duties include,
but are not limited, the following areas and activities.
Maintain OES databases used to store and retrieve authoritative office documents, including
maintenance of content, access control / distribution lists, and metadata. Implement and administer OES websites, databases and document collections. Implementation may
include layout, setup, access control, validation and checkout. Support OES Agency Governance
council executives with configuration of SharePoint web pages used for specific Council topics. Recommend and create new approaches for automation or redesign of office processes or define
requirements and collaborate with OCIO to implement new approaches. Document policies and instructions for database maintenance and ensure appropriate quality
control of updated data. Conduct periodic (at least quarterly) validation of access control lists with authoritative
access permissions database, consistency of application of database standards and assignment of
metadata by users. Serve as the focal point for all issues relating to logistics in implementation of Council or
other OES- managed formal meetings, in coordination with management and other OES staff. Capture, analyze and report on problem areas and help resolve issues; conduct a monthly
Operations Review to review, decide and socialize changes. Participate in Council meetings as a Meeting Facilitator responsible for display of charts and
resolution of real-time AV/IT issues. Provide backup support to OES in executing Council meeting
logistics. Maintain proper security of all controlled information. Responsible for availability,
reliability and integrity of business data stored in production repositories. Communicate regularly
with management and sytem owners to ensure the security and confidentiality of data.
Desired Skills:
Journeyman level of experience with Office 365 enterprise applications, especially SharePoint,
to include familiarity with design, configuration, and regular usage. Expert experience working with other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Teams, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Agility in learning current NASA information tools such as HATS and use of Tableau for automated
reporting. Creativity in identifying opportunities for automation within or across application
suites. Ability to define requirements and work in a team environment both with OES staff and supporting
Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) staff to implement new projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Literature, Computer Science, Information
Systems,Engineering, Business, or other related field. Seven (7) years' experience with ability to maintain
a high degree of accuracy and precision is essential. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Hours:
This position is exempt, 40 hours per week, exclusive of federal holidays, Saturday and Sunday. This is a hybrid position, onsite 3 days per week.
