Develops and ensures maximum operational efficiency of facilities and equipment, as well as upkeep of all grounds and support equipment, through the direction of a technical support staff.
Ensures all systems, including utility infrastructure, are fully operational and inspected according to accepted standards and practices, including preventive maintenance schedules.
Acts as a specialist for specific maintenance tasks for service and repairs in specialty areas.
May be a team lead of a staff responsible for the operation and maintenance of HVAC and life safety systems, as well as mechanical equipment such as boilers, large chillers, air compressors, generators, motors, turbines, pumps and ventilating and refrigeration equipment in a large commercial facility.
Provides advice and guidance to complete complex projects.
May assist supervisor with project budget oversight.

Electrical: Serves as team lead responsible for preventive and predictive electrical facility infrastructure maintenance and repair.
Plumbing: Serves as team lead responsible for plumbing, refrigeration and mechanical systems as they relate to facility maintenance.
HVAC and HVAC Operations: Serves as team leader responsible for HVAC and HVAC Controls maintenance and controls. Maintains digitally-controlled building management system (BMS); programs BMS software and software devices to accommodate new equipment, hardware, processors or alteration of existing equipment. Responds to customer service requests and responds to all maintenance, fire systems and emergency calls. Tests water systems, life safety systems and administers chemical treatment programs.
Cabling: Serve as a liaison between Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Property Operations and Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) focused on infrastructure, cabling, building codes and standard compliance. Responsible for delivering cabling and fiber projects, including, but not limited to BAS cabling upgrades, MDF build-outs for cable and fiber, fiber backbone upgrades, lab consolidations, computer room upgrades and wireless access point installations.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Supervisor or Manager. May lead project teams during operations or maintenance.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Associate of science degree, certificate from technical school or successful completion of Department of Labor-approved training program or equivalent.
License/Certification/Designation: Associates must acquire the required federal and/or state licenses and registrations within the time designated by the business unit. Additional licenses and registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails or is unable to obtain required licenses and registrations within the designated time period, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position and employment may end.
Licenses, certifications and designations required or preferred include the following:
Predictive: Level 1 Vibration Certification, Level 1 Thermography Certification required.
Structural: Locksmith Certification strongly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications for GS-11:
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:

* The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) maintains several IBM and Unisys COBOL (COMMON BUSINESS-ORIENTED LANGUAGE) main-frame systems critical to its missions and functionals.
* This is one of three TRAINERS that will be responsible for providing COBOL (COMMON BUSINESS-ORIENTED LANGUAGE) mainframe-related training to 10-15 new programmers in a classroom setting with potentially both in-person and virtual attendees.
* Trainers will administer some or all the following designed courses and/or disciplines: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IDMS, Agile, DevSecOps, and potentially others with subject matter experts' assistance.
* Trainers will supplement existing training materials and design and develop new, well-structured materials as needed using the most appropriate delivery method (e.g., Microsoft Word or hands-on coding examples).
* Trainers will assist supervisory personnel in the assessment and evaluation of new programmers' success and capability via defined measures.

Compensation Type: Hourly Compensation: $18.00 The Learning Support Specialist II (LSS II) performs the duties of a professional tutor in their area(s) of academic expertise and experience. Requirements for this position include:
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation
Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Job Developer: This position is responsible for assisting people with disabilities with identifying appropriate and satisfying employment, locating and securing employment, and providing the necessary support to maintain or improve their employment opportunities.
Job Coach: This position is responsible for assisting people with disabilities identifying appropriate and satisfying employment and providing the necessary support to maintain or improve their employment opportunities.
*All full-time and part-time positions receive Paid Time Off, Holidays and Floating Holidays.
