We're currently hiring a Cyber Threat Analyst to support a federal cybersecurity client as part of our team helping to secure and protect the Nation's critical infrastructure resilience. This role will provide technical and analytical insights into information related to cyber incidents, vulnerabilities, and threat actor activity.
This position is a hybrid role and on-site work will be conducted in Arlington, VA. Candidates must be located in the National Capital Region and be prepared to work at the designated location up to three days per week, with the possibility of additional on-site days as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess threat and vulnerability information shared by partners for potential impact to federal agency systems and critical infrastructure
Determine validity and impact of threat information, provide analysis, and collaborate to determine necessary partner notifications and potential product development
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and informed cyber incident response activities
Draft and ensure quality control of external partner communications related to vulnerability notifications and other operational coordination activities
Monitor inboxes and other real-time communication channels for partner communications, respond to cyber partner inquiries, coordinate cybersecurity products (alerts, advisories, etc.) among targeted partners for technical before public distribution
Apply knowledge of evolving cyber threat landscape, emerging threats, and geopolitical events and trends to enhance the organization's operational mission

U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position)
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Industry standard certifications are a plus (CompTIA Sec+, CEH, etc.).
Cyber operations, analysis, and/or incident management response experience
Prior experience supporting a federal government client, preferably in the national security field

What you'll be doing:
Provide support across a number of work roles or mission areas that support the JOC's 24x7x365 operations.
Develop and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for delivering support (mission essential, extended work week or non-mission essential) to the USCYBERCOM JOC in order to defend the nation, operate and defend the DODIN, and synchronize and provide situational awareness to USCYBERCOM staff elements, components, CCMDs, agencies and mission partners.
Assist J33 leadership to maintain situational awareness on Cyber Mission Force (CMF) mission planning, status and reporting.
Shared situational awareness (SSA) will require the individual to work together in a dynamic environment and possess a common understanding of the situation at hand. It entails assessing, analyzing, and maintaining situational awareness on the execution of USCYBERCOM operations and providing a consolidated and collaborated view of the environment to share with higher headquarters, USCYBERCOM components and mission partners.
Create and submit reports that demonstrate USCYBERCOM components' mission results and impacts.
Facilitate the sharing of Defense Industrial Base, and Law Enforcement securityinformation among all relevant entities through the combination of information sharing policies, procedures, and technologies. This includes a high degree of liaison, interaction, and communication with Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3).
Develop communication strategies, crafting messages, and provide coaching on delivery, ensuring alignment with the command's overall vision and mission.
Provide guidance on authorities, cyberspace operations doctrine, schema/lexicon, and rules of engagements. Provide administrative and technical support for policy development and implementation. The Senior Analysts will conduct research, analysis, and communication to assist in the creation and maintenance of effective policies.

What does Leidos need from me?
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required.
BA/BS degree within STEM field, National Security Studies, or field of study supporting operational art & science or three plus years relevant experience in the military. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Familiarity with military operations including phases of planning, approval, and execution.
Familiarity with applicable Joint Publications, to include: JP 1-0 Joint Warfighting; JP 3-0 Joint Campaigns and Operations; JP 3-12 Joint Cyberspace Operations; and JP 5-0 Joint Planning, as well as applicable Strategic-level guidance pertinent to CO.
Experience conducting JOC operations.
Knowledge of Blue-space Cyber capabilities and demonstrate understanding of available Cyber infrastructure or platforms to conduct OCO.
Understanding underlying intelligence support needs, topics, and focus areas across range of CO.
