Role Description
Work collaboratively with Business areas, Risk leaders, IT, and Enterprise Information Protection to improve our security posture.Leads development of a segment specific security strategy and model.Leads risk assessment and threat assessment for their segment.Leads all external and internal cyber risk, threat, and security assessments for their aligned segment.Works across all areas of security to ensure a cohesive security model from a technical and process perspective.Facilitate cross-functional teams to ensure the success of their segment's security program.Works with the security and IT to define, prioritize, and manage projects that align with the overarching security strategy.Responsible for security program compliance of their aligned segment.Drives awareness and education of cybersecurity issues for segment leaders and associates tailored to their segment's processes and business model.Lead and consult with segment and IT leaders on ad hoc requests/special projects.

Required Qualifications

Equifax information security officer job description

The BISO/ISO (Business Information Security Officer) team has historically been tailored to the local business to address bottlenecks or failings in security processes, leaving inconsistencies in duties, expertise and resource allocation. This led to the expansion of the team to support various Security COE functions. The Business Security function will streamline its operating model to focus on Business/Client Assurance and Security Risk & Compliance management activities. While Security COE staff will be allocated to support the BU/Countries the staff will report directly into a functional Sec COE manager.

The Business Security team has a global presence, and is forward-deployed to the many places where Equifax does business, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania. Four Vice Presidents, each with the title of Business Information Security Officer, head up the teams comprising Business Security. Each of the four teams is aligned with one of Equifax's business units: US Information Services (USIS), Workforce Solutions (EWS), and in the international space with Europe (EU), Canada, Latin America (Latam) & (AZ) Australia, New Zealand and India. These Business Information Security Officers and their associated teams ultimately report to the SVP of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Business Security.
Each team serves as an intermediary among:
