Provide moderate to advance level enterprise desktop, gaming and non-gaming applications, peripherals, networked and non-networked devices support including the ability to identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems, application software, and related utilities to provide efficient and reliable system operation.
Responsibilities
• Provide moderate to advanced technical support of an enterprise desktop environment and applications.
• Install and maintains network connected hardware and software, including services, peripherals, desktop PC, Virtual Desktop devices, printers, gaming devices connectivity, kiosks, and miscellaneous devices.
• Perform moderate to advance level system and application support which may include gaming systems, non-gaming, accounting/financial systems, various Casino and Back of House, and tribal systems and applications.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• A.S. or equivalent in Technical Institution (Two year degree). • 2-3 years experience in the field or a related area • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certificate or related Microsoft certification preferred • CompTIA N+ Certification preferred • CompTIA A+ certificate preferred
Pay range: $23.00 - $29.90 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.

Molokai General Hospital is a 15-bed rural health care facility with a Critical Access Hospital designation. It provides the only emergency room for the residents and visitors on the island of Molokai. MGH is an affiliate of The Queen's Health System since 1987. The Queen's Health System 'ohana includes over 8000 employees and more than 1400 physicians with 1,000 specialists statewide.

Molokai General Hospital provides acute care, inpatient hospice, skilled nursing, and low-risk obstetrical services. We also offer primary care in a rural health clinic, chemotherapy, limited specialty procedures, diabetes management, family planning, physical therapy (including aquatic therapy), veteran's services and chronic disease navigation services.

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The IS Specialist is under the direction of the Information Services Coordinator. Assists with the planning and development of Hospital wide data communications networks and diverse information services projects involving multiple hardware platforms. Assists with evaluating, analyzing, planning, recommending, supporting and monitoring services related to the development implementation and efficient use of telecommunication hardware and software products and computer networking systems.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Essential: Seeing, hearing, speaking, standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, finger dexterity, lifting weight of 20 pounds to 80 pounds, pushing and pulling usual weight of 40 pounds to 100 pounds, carrying usual weight of 5 pounds to 40 pounds, reaching above shoulders, reaching at shoulders, reaching below shoulders, repetitive arm and hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object. Continuous: Seeing, hearing. Operates all office equipment and shop tools.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold (temperature and duration), noise and/or vibration, hazardous physical conditions, atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or the skin.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• High school graduate or the equivalent.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• Experience supporting WAN/LAN networking equipment.

• Experience supporting and administrating business software and systems, including Windows client and server operating systems, Microsoft Office, servers, workstations, printers, scanners, faxes, VoIP and analog telephones.

• Experience troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving issues related to operating systems, software, hardware and networking.

• Experience in hospital applications such as electronic medical records, accounting, clinical systems, payroll/personnel preferred.

• Experience in project management preferred.

• May be required to lift up to 50 lb.
