Job Summary
The Patent Prosecution Information Specialist is a member of the IP Operations team whose job function includes conducting conflicts checks and identifying patent applications. The Specialist will support patent prosecution attorneys with regard to responding to patent office communications.
Job Responsibilities
• Reviews office actions and conduct-related conflicts checks in connection with cited references.
• Generates conflicts reports that summarize the existence of potential conflicts.
• Searches databases as appropriate for identifying owners of patents, for identifying patents and patent applications related to a patent application for which an office action is issued, and for assessing patent prosecution history.
• Drafts disclosure statements related to findings of material references, as necessary.
• Assists with special projects as requested.

Education
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Paralegal Studies, Library Science, Business, or a related field
Experience
