Job Title: eDiscovery Operations Consultant

JOB TITLE: Information Risk Consultant
JOB LOCATION: Springfield, MA Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
WAGE RANGE*: 40-50/hr.

Job Description: The eDiscovery program within the Data Purpose and Protection (DPP) team provides key support to its stakeholders through its eDiscovery expertise, processes, and technologies. The program's processes are developed by leveraging the industry's eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM) framework and staying appraised of best practices and case studies. The DPP team is seeking an eDiscovery operations consultant to help address the current eDiscovery operational backlog. Additionally, this position's primary job duties will be in supporting the development and execution of processes and practices relevant to the preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (Client).

Examples of this include the following:
Inventory control: picking up physical devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, phones), assigning and completing chain of custody forms, and updating team tracking systems.
Data preservation: collecting data from its sources (e.g., physical devices, network shares, collaboration tools) using the team's forensic software (EnCase) and storing it in the evidence repository.
Data collection: collection of data as requested by legal. This is an important process as it is critical to not over or under collect the data. Collection may involve retrieving data from the evidence repository or requests such as collecting from a custodian's data source (e.g., laptop, M365, Slack).

Preferred Skills:
1-3 years of relevant technical experience with collections of PC and Apple

Role description:

Arcadis is looking for entry level Management Consultants to join our quickly growing company in Houston, Texas; Buffalo, NY; Chicago, IL; and Seattle, WA. You will work with project teams to gather Environmental, Health, Safety, sustainability, or quality related business requirements, translate them into Information System specifications and implement design in associated software.

In this client-facing role, you will support business leaders in the successful selection, configuration, implementation, and sustainment of EHS and sustainability management information systems. You will also provide objective, independent advice on off-the-shelf or custom-built, third-party technologies and knowledge of the market presence of these technologies within our clients. (Training will be provided.) The successful candidate will have effective client communication skills and a passion for sustainability and technology. Ideally, you will have successfully completed university courses that provided exposure to and experience with environmental software or have a technical field of studies to further develop a deep understanding of global EHS and sustainability business capabilities, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Role accountabilities:

* Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; Implement EMIS software for clients worldwide, assisting with system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, enhancement and improvements as required to meet overall business objectives of clients.
* Configure/deploy environmental health, safety and sustainability solutions; specific activities include drafting and publishing system design documents, configuring technical specifications and components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and developing custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces.
* Participate in system support and training clients.
* Apply functional and technical skill to configure EMIS software; serve as subject matter expert to provide escalation point for production issues.
* Map and analyze end-to-end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integration with EHS&S Management Information Systems software, following formal IT guidelines.
* Facilitate management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems.
* Serve as a power user of collaborative technology, and champion new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (i.e. Enablon, Intelex, Cority, SAP EHSM, and other EHS&S software systems.)

Qualifications & Experience:

* C++ or Java experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, and/or background in Environmental field.

About the job

We have an opportunity for an Information & Process Systems Consultant to join our team at Portland Aluminium.

This is a hands-on technical IS/IT position as part of a small team supporting and developing existing and new Manufacturing and Process control computer systems within Alcoa's Aluminium smelting business.
The key focus of this role is to:
Identify and resolve technical problems associated with Manufacturing and Process computing applications linked to automation and business equipment.Assess and interpret Manufacturing and Process control and automation requirements and the subsequent design and implementation of solutions.Identify emerging technologies both within and outside Alcoa with the potential of reducing the complexity and cost of smelter operations.

Additionally, the role will involve:
Building an understanding of existing Manufacturing, Process computing and automation systems and the importance of these to smelter operations.Working with users of the systems, in person, by phone and by Microsoft Teams & email to understand their requirements and issues.Working with other computing and manufacturing resources to help resolve issues that fall outside the direct responsibilities of the role.Developing and configuring new and existing Manufacturing and Process control systems.Specifying and managing project and support tasks assigned to other resources.Creating technical documents such as the specification of user requirements, systems design, systems support processes, requests for funds and project reports.Working within existing Plant and Alcoa ITAS standards.

About you

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.Experience in computing systems development and analysis, however suitable graduates are also encouraged to apply.

The Portland Aluminium Smelter is located five kilometres south of Portland, a vibrant coastal town in south-west Victoria, and approximately 360 kilometres south west of Melbourne. The smelter employs approximately 650 employees and contractors.
