The Manager of PACS Radiology Information Systems will join the family of dedicated nurses and other health care professionals living out a mission to heal people in body, mind and spirit. The Manager of PACS Diagnostic Information Systems will be responsible for implementing and supporting the multiple imaging applications for the Hospital and its clients including optimizing the end user experience. The Manager of PACS Radiology Information Systems will focus on the application, database, environment, user experience, and sub-system performance of these clinical applications.

The Manager of PACS Diagnostic Information Systems will consult with clinical end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. The Manager of PACS Radiology Information Systems will write and/or review manuals for users to describe systems procedures as they relate to department's operations. The Manager of PACS Diagnostic Information Systems will work on complex projects requiring understanding of imaging clinical applications to define project requirements, and performs complex data collection and analysis.

The Manager of PACS Diagnostic Information Systems will review, analyze, and modify the imaging systems including configuration, testing, debugging, modification, activation and on-going support including the installation of new applications. The Manager of PACS Radiology Information Systems will mentor junior imaging informatics staff on the principles of informatics and imaging system implementation.

The ideal candidate for Manager of PACS Radiology Information Systems should have Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), information/computer science, software, or engineering with at least five years of experience in supporting Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and voice recognition; management of IT implementation projects/applications and Radiology workflow such as RIS, PACS, or EMR/EHR.

Background

The Internal Revenue Service is seeking contractor support to assess, roadmap and remediate major Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementations. This role will support IRS in achieving mission success.

Duties

Provides guidance in performing zero trust assessments and roadmaps. Expertise in all 5 zero trust pillars and 3 cross-cutting pillars (Identity, Devices, Network, Application workloads, and Data) Additional expertise with micro segmentation, SIEM, and SOAR's Responds to issues as they relate to either the 5 pillars or cross pillar issues in support of the zero trust architecture. Communicates with customers, subject matter experts, and vendors to resolve issues. Provides leadership, guidance, and accountability for teams of IT specialists and contractors performing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of zta capabilities and other IT-related duties. Maintains current awareness of emerging trends in zero trust architecture and relevant technologies and identifies those with potential application for the agency. Provides customers and management with prompt and accurate technical advice and guidance, recommendations to improve operations and overall support. Provides written and/or status reports on activities or system status, completed projects, research initiatives, technical issues found, and problem resolutions.



Requirements



U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain IRS Clearance - Public Trust Bachelor's degrees in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines
3-5years of relevant experience as a network support Analyst in the federal space Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Understands stakeholder roles and responsibilities, and can tailor messaging in the context of the stakeholder group Prepares communications to stakeholders (emails, status reports, meeting invites) and responds to stakeholder inquiries Develops agendas, project plans, and captures meeting minutes
Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Tracks and executes actions and requirements from various sources in a fast-paced environment
Ability to synthesize and report information to executive leadership in logical manner either in a report and presentation Provides briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholders Ability to work well independently and in a group setting

In this role, the Regional Manager of Laboratory Information Systems is responsible for providing reliable operation and protection of the Clinical Laboratory Information Systems (including interfaces to hospital systems, laboratory instruments, robotic processing systems, reference laboratories and peripheral equipment) and the Pathology Information System which are necessary to provide safe, secure, quality information management that meets patient, caregiver, institutional and department needs. The manager also prepares budgets, management of financial & human resources and promotes MAGIS values within the section and supports various health system-sponsored programs.

Procure, install, test up-to-date hardware, operating systems, software versions, and program features/modules in order to give the laboratory a technological edge for streamlined workflow. Special attention to matching software versions with needed software - application or operating system; heeding "sunset" dates of versions; and providing physical & environmental protection for the hardware.

Provide direction and project management for computing needs and projects, utilizing skills/ knowledge of LIS/ Billing staff to build, test, & provide training on new hardware, software, or functionality. Ensure that the clinical lab system and pathology systems operate in accordance with I.T. best practices including data storage, system security, business continuity and disaster recovery and is functioning properly to support interfaces to hospital systems, laboratory instruments, robotic processing systems, reference laboratories, Point of Care interfaces, and peripheral equipment. Recognize and resolve system problems or failures in hardware and software components.

Participate in workgroups with institutional I.T. (CIO, Directors, VPs, Mgrs, & analysts), hospital, & lab management to develop effective workflows between LIS systems & other institutional computing systems.

Research & alert laboratory managers & Directors of new computing products & functionality; discuss/ identify which projects should be undertaken, and gain consensus for funding/ prioritization of projects to be done.
