As a key member of the Hajoca PMO, the Senior IT Project Manager will report directly to Hajoca's Senior Manager PMO. The Senior IT Project Manager applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Recommends, plans, directs the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of systems, based on and related to user or system design specifications. Helps design and present key training sessions related to the projects. Manages and oversees all aspects of technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget, including managing scope, cost, schedule, internal resources, vendors, and deliverables. Monitors project milestones and provides periodic status update reports while managing risk. This role may also mentor more junior associates in a similar project management role.
Key Responsibilities


Develop the business case for the implementation of new software, hardware, operating procedures, resources. Determine the cost of development and implementation of new methods of operation, including resources. Lead and participate in various IT projects, including system conversions (acquisitions) and software upgrades. Obtain resources from other departments depending on specialties. Coordinate the key relationship with software provider on specific projects in conjunction with the project sponsors. Maintain coordination to ensure all technical aspects of implementations and upgrades are completed adequately and on-time. Maintain coordination to ensure end users are properly trained. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Protect operations by keeping information confidential. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include:

+ Perform GIS database development, qualitative/quantitative analysis, and mapping as a member of a local and regional water resources team

+ Compile, manipulate, and refine geographic data from a variety of sources including public domain, field collection, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps
