Specific position responsibilities The candidate will perform the following: Requirement analysis, derivation, reconciliation, and traceability for an integrated system that includes HW and software designs Produce and/or review design artefacts for system and HW products Produce and/or review white papers and market studies for system and HW products Coordinate with procurement department and communicate with suppliers to identify suitable products to meet system requirements Establish, produce, and maintain a Bill Of Material (BOM) to support equipment definition Support design and demonstration that selected HW solutions meet required performance criteria and cyber accreditation (Including: Operating Environment, Network, Processing, Storage, Interfaces, Guards, Data and Network Security, Storage Architecture, Middleware, Processing Usage, System Configuration and Management, Technical Performance Measurements and Optimization, etc.) Survey of the technologies in the marketplace, the trends in the industry and technology selection, including trade-off studies and prototype demonstrations. Define technology criteria selection based on required performance and conduct trade-off analysis.
