The Information Technology Assurance Specialist's primary function is working with Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. Perform VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & Configuration, Account Creations, changes, & deletions, Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modifications, Media Control & Accountability, and COMSEC account/equipment management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
8+ years total related experience
6+ years of relevant SCI experience.
Must have CompTIA Sec + certificate as outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 and Information Assurance Manager Level 1 within 6 months of the date of hire.
Must complete training on Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) (if supported organization requires development of AIS accreditation packages).
Willingness to travel with the scope of the Program's Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note- could be extensive and will include both air and ground transportation).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of SAP related experience highly desired.

Essential Functions: Under the general supervision of the Chair of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, the incumbent will provide comprehensive support of chemistry and biochemistry teaching laboratories, including setup, clean up, chemical material preparation, instrument set up and calibration, and stockroom maintenance. The incumbent is responsible for the purchase of chemicals, glassware and lab supplies for the department as well as maintaining all documentation including the department ledger, invoices, and credit card statements. The internal records must be periodically reconciled with the University's ledger. The incumbent must be able to track purchases from several funding sources and categories. The incumbent may be called upon to assist and advise professors with their research or faculty development purchases. The incumbent will coordinate equipment repair with department equipment technicians and with contracted specialists.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Equivalent to three years of experience providing instructional support services for a related unit or discipline, or in producing materials or supplies, or repairing equipment in a discipline related to the area to which assigned. Or equivalent to four years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials, supplies, or equipment, and in a discipline related to the area to which assigned, may be substituted for two years of the required experience. Incumbent must have the ability to operate relevant scientific equipment and computer interfaces; plan, organize and schedule activities; maintain records; adjust and perform simple maintenance on technical and scientific equipment; read and write at a level suitable for records maintenance and project needs. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Key Responsibilities
Client Support

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate's or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in the AV or tech industry.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with firewalls, routers, and managed switches.
- Familiarity with IT monitoring tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of AV systems and automation (preferred but not required).

What You'll Do
Perform functional testing on newly imaged or deployed PCs, laptops, and peripherals (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, webcams, speakers, etc.).
Verify operating systems boot correctly and system images have been installed properly.
Ensure required applications (Microsoft 365, Teams, Chrome, Edge, etc.) are installed and operating without issues.
Test wired and wireless network connectivity, login access, and basic workstation performance.
Configure and test network printers, label printers, and scanners where required.
Document testing results accurately and escalate issues to your supervisor.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report hardware or software failures discovered during QC.
Label and prepare all workstations that pass testing for deployment.
Sample Tasks You'll Perform
Print test pages and validate printer connectivity.
Launch O365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Test Chrome and Edge.
Validate audio/video functionality in Teams.
Check label printers and scanning devices (where applicable)
Key Skills and Abilities Necessary
Working knowledge of Windows 11 desktop environments and common enterprise applications.
