Summary: Cath Lab Specific: The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Arrhythmia (EP) Specific: The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique. Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific: The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound. Neuro Interventional Specific: The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique. Responsibilities And Duties: 85% Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area. 10% Greets patients upon arrival to department. Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions. Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients. (5%) Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records. This is a very large project tied to the conversion of Speedway's old store systems to the new 7-11/Speedway system called RIS 2.0 that is being rolled out as the store system standard across all locations. Both are homegrown systems. This initiative is affecting every technology in the stores...mobile checkout, POS, desktop, gas etc. These analysts are responsible for the hands on work and switching over from the old system to the new system. Fielding calls and doing the end to end implementation. Ideally closing the store and completing within 4-6 hours. Right now they are implementing RIS 2.0 to about 6 stores a day right now but need to get to 12 a day stat These are high level tech support roles so the technical acumen has to be there. This is a heavy customer service driven role as well so intangibles are just as important.     Information systems technician job in Columbus, OH

    Purpose Under general supervision of the IT Manager, the IT Intern provides assistance and troubleshooting for client problems with desktop hardware and peripherals, operating systems, LAN/WAN/VPN and telephone networks, etc. Supports network operating systems including basic trouble-shooting of network operating problems, configuration issues at workstations, and physical network. This includes a full range of technical support in areas of workstation hardware and software; workstation and peripheral equipment installation, maintenance and repair; network (voice and data) operations; and other computer-related issues. Contributes to technical support consistent with service level agreements and coordinates the resolution of complex problems with vendors, technical staff, and users. Example of Duties Prioritizes inbound support request tickets; responds to client questions and problems relating to computers, communications, and centralized applications; identifies problems; resolves issues for most common problems, escalating issues upward, if necessary. Maintains accurate documentation of status and problem resolution, applicable hardware and/or software adds, changes, moves or deletes; updates documentation on technical issues. Troubleshoot and resolves basic network issues such as login problems, password resets, and minimum requirements for functionality. Identifies and resolves basic network configuration issues at the workstations, user or network resource issues, etc. Installs, configures, and resolves basic hardware problems with standard computers, network and peripheral equipment. Creates basic application packages using vendor-supplied installation routines, scripts, and some customization of settings. Sets up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Supports and administers Google Apps. Provides guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment, as well as provides training to users on established programs. Maintains current knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems. Performs continuous updates of core technology infrastructure. Modifies and maintains system backup procedures. Supports and configures cloud services. Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation, change logs, and other material as needed. Contributes to setting and achieving park district and IT strategic goals and objectives. Performs special projects and related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience: Students currently enrolled in an information technology or computer science certification program, or related college or university program, or recent graduates within two quarters/semesters. Desired knowledge of CompTIA A +, CompTIA N+ and Windows 10 or 11 MCSA. Demonstrated knowledge in an Enterprise Windows/MAC environment, including LAN/WAN/VPN networks. Demonstrated experience with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Chrome Browser, VMware, Chrome OS, IOS, Android, Linux, Windows Server, Windows 10, Windows 11 and MacOS. Demonstrated experience in modifying systems and performing routine system maintenance. Excellent skills in problem identification, problem resolution, detailed documentation, time management, interpersonal communications, and customer service. Team-Oriented: Works on a team. Outstanding customer service, communications and interpersonal skills. Attendance: Being present at work is an essential function of the position. Language Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to coworkers, other professionals, the general public, Franklin County Data Center, and public officials; ability to explain technical information in everyday language which non-technical people can understand; ability to train others. Communication occurs daily. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages; deal with non-verbal symbols in formulas, equations or graphs; proofread technical materials, recognize errors and make corrections. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and develop appropriate recommendations to resolve identified problems; ability to gather, collate and classify information about data, people, and things. Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid Ohio driver license, and insurable by the Park District's insurance carrier. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time, walk/move, talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to key data, use calculator, computer, file paperwork, etc. Ability to operate standard office equipment in the performance of essential functions. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while installing computer systems and cabling. Ability to take the necessary precautions to work safely with electrical and electronic components. Ability to move objects weighting above 15 lbs. with the help of equipment/devices, on an infrequent basis. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. manually or up to 100 lbs. with mechanical assistance. Work Environment: While performing the regular duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment. The employee is required to travel to parks throughout the District.     About the Role: The Service Desk Intern position will focus on hardware, but will work toward handling incidents, requests, and alert management. The Service Desk Intern will be tasked with working across a broad range of technologies and applications while supporting our team members. Experience with Microsoft Intune or comparable Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions preferred. Experience with hardware imaging and deployment such as laptops, and desktops.
