Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Instructions: The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is a narrative discussion of how your education, experience, skills, and training meet the minimum and desirable qualifications to qualify you for the position. It serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. GenAI use is not permitted. The SOQ must be no more than one (1) page in length, single spaced, with one inch margins, in 12 point font, and on a letter sized document (8 ½ x 11). The document should be title at the top of the page: Statement of Qualifications. The document must also include the position and JC number. A notation or reference to other materials such as a resume, cover letter or applications will not be considered and cannot substitute for the SOQ.
