The External Development IT Account Manager position is a new and exciting opportunity to UK HealthCare Information Technology. This position will lead the external development office in the standardization of project management methodology and practices, including but not limited to PMI, LEAN, and Agile to ensure repeatable processes and procedures which meet enterprise business needs for external affairs.
Additional responsibilities of this position include:

* Managing relationships between internal/external client organizations
* Identifying and developing metric measurements related to demand management, resource capacity and allocation, compliance, time tracking, budget, and other project indices
* Developing principles and processes to promote/enhance collaboration and communication
* Collaborating with the ePMO in project demand management, project prioritization, resource allocation, project tracking, and overall project management needs across the enterprise.

Responsible for vertical account penetration, customer satisfaction, territory management, and sales growth for long-term results

Provide customer and competitor feedback to management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field desired
A minimum of 4 years of previous experience selling Information Technology Integrated Solutions, Outsourcing and/or Managed Consulting Services
Strong knowledge of the Local Municipalities, Higher Education Institutions and/or Commercial markets in Maryland and or Virginia markets as well as demonstrated experience in building new account customer relationships
Previous Higher Education, Local Government and/or Commercial market sales experience preferred
A proven track record of sales success at the Senior Executive level and building C-Level relationships is desired
Action-oriented, results-oriented, "take charge" attitude, with the capability of developing a strong business case for client actions and the skills to bring those actions to a close
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate remotely and travel as needed

Position

  • Ongoing development and understanding of key vertical market trends, regulations, and compliance requirements. Ongoing development of IT and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience as a Technical Account Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
  • Net+ Certified, MCP, MCA, MCSE, Cloud, Firewall
  • Knowledge of IT managed services, IT Project engineer, sales experience, coupled with management in a technical field
  • A good understanding of general IT operations and service management
