Job Description As a Systems Engineer on the Infrastructure Reliability Engineering team, you'll be part of a global engineering team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of the Container infrastructure that powers secure, high-speed digital transactions across 200+ countries. This role emphasizes hands-on operational excellence, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Container infrastructure in a dynamic, cloud-native environment. You'll contribute to the reliability, monitoring, and automation of Compute platforms, and support AI-powered tools that enhance operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on operations, ideal for new graduates passionate about Container infrastructure ( Onprem and Cloud), automation, and supporting mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities: Operational Support & Maintenance Perform daily monitoring, health checks, and maintenance of Container infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system issues, and execute root cause analysis to minimize downtime. Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning across Linux/Windows systems Administer Kubernetes Infrastructure platforms Perform Infrastructure lifecycle management tasks for Dell and HP Hardware Implement system patching, kernel upgrades, and configuration changes following change management processes Automation & Process Improvement Use scripts and tools (Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve efficiency. Support the implementation of automation for monitoring, reporting and self-healing of Incidents. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operational workflows. Monitoring & Observability Maintain dashboards, alerts, and metrics for systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and other tools. Support self-healing and auto-scaling features for Container infrastructure. Security & Compliance Ensure servers comply with security and regulatory standards. Participate in vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and incident response. Support high-availability of Container infrastructure. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with developers, product managers, and systems engineers in Agile teams. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and operational discussions related to Container technologies. Document runbooks, SOPs, and technical guides for operational processes. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of work experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (2024/2025 graduate). Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Python, Go, Java, or PowerShell. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles as applied to Container operations.
