The team is looking to implement and pursue next-generation innovation. To implement this transformation, we're seeking an experienced cloud engineer who has expertise in strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud, including the use of High-Performance-Computing (HPC) environments. Experience with Azure Cloud Computing is required, however exposure to other vendor platforms (AWS, Google) is beneficial. The prospective candidate will have a firm grasp of emerging cloud technologies, platforms, services, and possess an ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance, engaging staff, and advanced industry knowledge are essential. Familiarity with Azure GCC Platforms and other FedRAMP approved platforms is needed. Objectives of this role • Work in tandem with exiting engineering teams to identify and implement solutions following Azure well-architected best practices. • Lead the migration and modernization of critical business applications and processes to Azure with an emphasis on scalability, security, and compliance. • Define and document best practices and strategies for Azure infrastructure deployments, resource provisioning, policy enforcement, and solution reliability. • Architect and operationalize a new Azure cloud tenant, ensuring standardized deployment methodologies for resource groups, role-based access control (RBAC), and Azure Policy enforcement. • Monitor Azure resource performance, availability, and autoscaling capabilities to maintain optimal uptime and service quality. • Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines and CISA compliance.
