Job Title: AMI Information Systems Analyst
Contract :: 12 Months
AMI Information Systems Analyst
As a Web Developer for the AMI team, you'll play a crucial role in managing the integration of 1.5 million customer meters with the APC billing system. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and deploying web projects, ensuring they adhere to common software standards. Advanced Oracle querying skills are essential for success in this role, alongside maintaining servers, operating systems, and databases to ensure accurate data reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills)
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
· 2+ years of experience in web software development, with expertise in .NET C# and understanding of VB.NET.
· Proficiency in utilizing .NET template projects and adhering to software development standards.
· Strong database management skills, including experience with Oracle SQL, MSSQL, and/or PostgreSQL.
· Proficient in programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and Python.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Troubleshoot issues related to AMI Systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network interruptions.
· Collaborate with internal partners to address issues and ensure accurate data flow.
· Assist in specifying requirements, designing, building, testing, and evaluating software upgrades.
· Develop and maintain queries, scripts, or programs to enhance data analysis.
· Provide training to team members or internal partners as necessary.
· Prepare summaries and reports of AMI operational activities for management review.

IT Intern

At Alabama Credit Union, we want you to feel good about your future. This placement opportunity is in the Information Technology Department (IT) at the corporate headquarters in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The role of the IT Intern position is to prepare candidates for future work, educational, and citizenship responsibilities through education and experience. The IT Intern will gain real world experience and knowledge of information technology operations by assisting in IT activities, working under the supervision of the AVP of Network Administration to support ACU's technology requirements. We seek a problem-solving, analytically-minded, self-motivated, and well-organized individual to fill this position.
Start Date/Duration:
This internship is part-time (approximately 37.5 hours per week) and temporary (10 weeks).
The program begins on May 26, 2026 and runs through July 31, 2026. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00.
The IT Intern will...
Lead or assist (skill-set dependent) on one or multiple projects in following areas: Technical support, system build-outs and setup, application rollout, process automation, new branch setup, portal update and documentation.
Participate in hands-on IT application and infrastructure experiences that will have a direct impact on ACU's operations.
Attend classes created to provide an edge in personal development.
Serve on community service project team that will focus on achieving measurable outcomes, to be determined by the team.
Provide friendly, accurate service to all members and employees.
Occasionally, the IT intern may be required to travel to area branches.

IT Intern Qualifications
Successful IT Intern candidates will display the following:
