Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $198,000/yr to $273,000/yr. Job Summary
The position of Enrollment Data & Process Analyst will be responsible supporting data related activities within Enrollment Management (recruitment, admissions, etc.) and areas in support of the strategic enrollment plan and overall mission of the institution. The Data & Process Analyst position will manage, collect, analyze and present data insights that allow administration to make informed decisions for business growth. This position will also aid in the areas of institutional effectiveness for undergraduate and graduate programs pertaining to student success. This position will work closely with other stakeholders (i.e. Institutional Research, ITS, etc.) across the institution to gather requirements for data collection. This position will also work with stakeholders and end-users to analyze the business practices and determine the best way to meet Institutional goals through the best use of systems like the University's CRM and other student success tools like degree auditing. The Data & Process Analyst will ensure good documentation standards and bring technical staff together to maintain the applications and systems that manage student data.
Responsibilities
* Collaboration: Work closely with Enrollment/Student Success, ITS, and other University stakeholders and functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights as well as collecting and compiling data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy.
* Partnership: Partner with Enrollment/Student Success units, ITS, and vendors to gather and document, test, debug, and deploy software to ensure it meets business requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data sources and management practices to identify improvements related to Enrollment/Student Success and retention. Prepare regular reports to communicate metrics and findings.
* Data Visualization: Create informative charts, graphs and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders. Knowledgeable about tools such as: Tableau, Power B, Excel, etc.
Data Quality Assurance: Maintain data quality standards by identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
* Research and Learning: Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends in data analysis, higher education, etc. Expand knowledge and skillsets in data analytics techniques and tools.
Functional Support: Provides administrative leadership and support for degree auditing systems including scheduling degree compliance audits to monitor student progress toward degree completion. Collaborates with Academic Affairs and Instructional Technology for curriculum reviews, technological needs, consistency, and accuracy.
* Communicate and engage with units and vendors to ensure quality support services and timely incident resolution.
* Ensure all work practices follow University System of Georgia Business Process Manual and IT Handbook Policies.
* Actively contribute to the University knowledge management practice to ensure both system and end-user documentation is created and updated to enable service delivery success. Drive and establish a data informed culture by leveraging the work of ITS and IR to establish actionable data across the university.
* Serve or lead working groups and committees, as appropriate.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
* Experience working in higher education setting.
* Strong analytical and technical skills, detail oriented, and interpersonal skills
* Experience with extracting and aggregating data using SQL or other tools as well as analyzing data using statistical software (I.e. SAS, IR, SPSS, etc.)
* Demonstrated familiarity with policies and processes in higher education (FERPA, accessibility etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Ellucian Banner Student Information System enterprise systems.
* Master's degree
* Demonstrated experience with relevant student success management systems or student degree planning systems (XAP, Degree Works, Targetx, EAB, Twilio, etc.)
* Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
