Cybersecurity Intern:
Evaluates, tests, monitors, and maintains information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity policies and procedures. Ensures adherence to identity management processes and controls to meet specific cybersecurity standards. Identifies security risks and exposures (data, application, infrastructure, devices etc.) and suggests measures to prevent future incidents and improve cybersecurity. Employ techniques and procedures for conducting risk assessments and compliance audits for IT and OT. Investigates and remediates security incidents such as intrusion, frauds, attacks, or leaks. Determines potential cybersecurity threats, coordinates preventive actions across the network leveraging intelligence from multiple internal and external sources and cybersecurity technologies. Identifies threat actors and their techniques, tools, and processes to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Infrastructure Engineering & Operations Intern:
Interns will focus on either Platform Engineering or Operational Technology (OT) Engineering. Both roles support routine maintenance, performance testing, and basic troubleshooting of infrastructure systems to ensure optimal reliability. Responsibilities include assisting with system configuration, backup and recovery procedures, analyzing performance data, and documenting solutions. OT Engineering interns additionally support industrial control systems such as HMIs and PLCs, collaborating with engineers and business teams to meet operational and technical requirements.
Software Development Intern:
Interns will focus on either Software Engineering or Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering, both collaboratively contribute to the software development lifecycle by ensuring both functionality and quality. The Software Engineering intern focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise software solutions, emphasizing automation, security, and continuous improvement. This role involves applying engineering best practices, participating in code reviews, and documenting technical requirements and designs. Meanwhile, the QA intern supports the validation of these solutions through manual and automated testing, assisting in the development of test strategies, creation/execution of test scripts, and reporting bugs. They work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards across releases and contribute to documentation, automation, and the ongoing enhancement of QA processes within an Agile environment.

Our Houstonoffice is looking for a team-oriented and enthusiastic Geospatial Sciences professional to fill a fulltime GIS Analyst position in our growing US Operations. The position begins January, 2025, or as soon as available.
Working as a GIS Analyst, you will participate in Civil, Municipal, and Environmental Engineering and Planning projects on activities pertaining to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data management. You will work closely with, and in support of, project managers, spatial scientists, professional engineers, planners, geologists, environmental scientists, and skilled technicians/technologists to coordinate and implement a wide variety of project solutions and goals.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Preparation and delivery of GIS figures for environmental reporting and planning documents
Prepare online digital maps and data for desktop review and public access
Prepare mobile digital maps and data for field data collection
Gather, compile, migrate and convert data sets for project needs from a variety of internal and external sources (e.g. conversion between CADD and GIS)
Evaluate data from multiple sources to determine the quality and ensure data is clean and accurate
Possible field data collection of public assets within the right-of-way
Research, update, and maintain numerous GIS datasets and templates
Champion GIS Solutions for the local office for both data collection and delivery
Apply understanding of the definition, projection, and application of different coordinate systems for both vector and raster datasets in ArcGIS
Responsibilities
Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
Geographical Information System (GIS): Supervise the installation, operations, and maintenance of a geographic information system (GIS). Make sure geodetic and cartography systems are maintained and periodically upgraded. Coordinate geographical surveys. Review and endorse geographical and cartographic data, records, and base maps for future use.
Data Management: Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
Database Specifications: Provide information and comments on suitability during the approval process for database specifications to ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved.
Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
Community of Practice Management: Participate in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to begin to build own expertise.
Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation: Gather information and resources, and draft and complete standard requests for bid solicitation requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for tender (RFT) on the requester side.
Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
What you'll bring to the team:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Completion of a Geospatial-focused academic degree or certificate program
Experience in Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Pro, ArcGIS Online/Portal, S123, Field Maps
Experience in data conversion, data management, and GIS digitization and analysis
Experience using python, arcade, VBScript, Jscript or SQL for minor formatting and query functions
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Background in public utilities, environmental compliance or management, or transportation and urban planning
Experience with FME or similar software
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities, ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly

Position Description
The GIS Analyst II will coordinate all aspects of GIS activities, including gathering, creating, converting and analyzing spatial data using GIS programs and related software applications to support ongoing projects. To coordinate the efforts of all other departments to ensure that necessary information, drawings, and databases are integrated with the GIS system; and to customize user interfaces by programming application software that is compatible with the GIS system.
Essential Functions
· Lead GIS efforts associated with engineering FEED and detailed design efforts for midstream capital projects including but not limited to location mapping, route mapping, alignment sheet generation, crossing list generation, and impact analysis calculations
· Perform advanced GIS analysis and spatial database management as it pertains to the day-to-day operation of the GIS and associated applications.
· Provide input to the design and management of GIS databases, tools, and applications.
· Integrate existing data from a variety of internal and external sources into the GIS database.
· Develop and implement specific GIS tools to assist end users with daily mapping and analysis as needed.
· Perform spatial data analysis, attribution, management
· Develop and utilize quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy
· Design, write, and maintain GIS workflow documentation
· Search for and mines data from disparate external sources
· Create presentation quality maps and completes complex geospatial analysis to support the midstream business.
· Create and present in-house training material.
· Mentor less experienced staff and foster a team environment

Requirements
Qualifications
· 7+ years of progressive experience in GIS with the last 5 years as a GIS Analyst or similar role.
· Must have 5 years of previous experience using ArcGIS 10.0 or higher required.
· In-depth knowledge of the pipeline industry is required
· Advanced level of knowledge and experience with ESRI Desktop products and other GIS/CAD & graphics drawing applications is required
· Knowledge advanced cartographic principles required
· Alignment Sheet Generation experience required
· FERC Experience is preferred
· PODS and/or APDM experience preferred
· Experience with Class Location and HCA Analysis a plus
· Familiarity with GIS automation techniques using Python scripting, ArcObjects programing, model builder and/or VBA/VBscript
· Familiarity with ArcGIS server, SQL Server, Oracle is desirable
· GISP and/or Esri Certification is desirable
· Must be proficient with MS Office products Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
