As new system capabilities are proposed or added, the incumbent communicates with the client community for their opinion and obtains concurrence by resolving differences between the user organizations and the PPSD. The incumbent also works with regulatory agencies, such as OPM, to resolve system issues, user inquiries, and agency regulatory requirements. The incumbent originates substantive documentation for internal and client use of the system. Recommends, assists with the design, and accomplishes training of other functional specialists and clients. Provides technical support to clients during and after system implementation, responds to unusual needs, provides advice and solutions to problems, and appropriate responses to system problem areas.
