Responsibilities
The Rental API Engineering team is responsible for the development and delivery of new strategic rental fulfillment APIs. These APIs provide business capabilities that can be consumed by both internal and external clients. Our API services strategy emphasizes API first design, microservices architecture and client agnostic capabilities that allow for quick and flexible consumption. As an Architect on the Rental API Engineering team, you will work closely with our development teams to model and design strategic API service solutions in support of our rental business. You will provide leadership in the architecture and design of highly complex, often global, API services solutions including activities such as domain modeling, API design, system design, systems integration, and implementation strategies. In this strategic position, you may collaborate across multiple implementation projects, proof of concepts, and department initiatives working with a wide variety of teams from across the organization. To be successful, you will need to be a thought leader and partner with other technologists across the organization.

To be successful in the IT Architect role you will need to foster relationships with engineers and architects to ensure we are developing cohesive and comprehensive global solutions that meet the needs of the business. The Rental API Engineering technology environment includes a mixture of Java, Android, Angular, Oracle, on-prem UNIX servers and cloud-based servers. Responsibilities:
Provide expert level technical consultations and analyses, solving complex problems Perform leadership role in designing solutions, organizing, attending, and leading hands-on working sessions with the various teams Design solutions at an abstract/conceptual level as well as at a detailed level Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to the engineering teams Drive continuous improvement in product, processes, and tools; developing and implementing new or enhanced technical methods and techniques to improve the development practice Work with product management and development teams to provide feedback and help influence the direction of product roadmap initiatives and product management processes Work with other solution architects to ensure knowledge sharing across the organization and ensure consistent problem-solving approaches are developed Provide mentoring and coaching including hands-on peer code reviews with the engineers Stay current on technology trends, new product capabilities, and how they impact our solutions Translate complex technical issues and concepts into less-technical terminology for non-technical stakeholders Develop, document, and maintain strategies, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps Manage solution designs within scope and recognize needs for change requests where required

Required:

Responsibilities

Currently seeking an experienced IT-OT-Edge Solutions Architect who can excel in the following areas.

Own and drive the IT-OT-Edge strategy, architecture, and solutions to grow ADI's business from the cloud to the edge Model & translate the customer problem statement into system architectures comprising multiple ADI technologies, including hardware and software solutions. Support the necessary teams throughout the development process to deliver mutual success, including the architecture definition, system level hardware, software development and supporting material. Scale the team & solutions across multiple application spaces within Industrial Automation. Identification of emerging technology trends in the IT-OT-Edge Domain and translation of these into product proposals that drive the development of ADI's business and technology roadmaps. Close collaboration & clear communication with internal and external stakeholders including customers, partners, team members, and other ADI teams to deliver mutual success. Grow strong technical and business expertise & leverage networks across ADI to create differentiating solutions.


Requirements


Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software/System Engineering or equivalent with minimum 7 years of experience in IT-OT-Edge system architecture. Technically savvy and showing an aptitude for new and innovative technologies. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and articulate system requirements as part of a broader strategy, who is a strong team player and enjoys working in a highly dynamic team environment. Ambitious & highly motivated individual looking for big and rewarding technical and business challenges. Knowledge of some of the following would be beneficial: IT & OT management systems and protocols; cybersecurity; Ethernet/RS-485/Other comms; HVAC control; access control; energy management system; controllers; intelligent edge applications; healthy buildings; sustainability; security systems.

Responsible for leading the overall information technology architecture planning; including infrastructure strategy, architectural direction, technology standards and guidelines to achieve the business outcomes desired as part of that vision. This position will also work with the broader IT organization and business units, including the IT and business leaders, to determine ways that Eversource can leverage technology to enhance business objectives and improve the customer experience.

Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years IT Architect or Lead Subject Matter Expert providing:Three (3) or more years of experience in supervising and leading architects

Strong business acumen, big-picture thinking, experienced working with leadership and leading a team SAFe Agile planning and work methodologies Test and/or Behavior driven development planning within an Agile context Working knowledge of CICD pipeline-based delivery mechanisms Microsoft Azure Experience preferred. Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.Track record of leading and delivering cost effective solutions.Experience in managing all aspects of vendor relationship including vendor performance and SLA adherence.

Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience

Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
