Salary Range: $103,300 - $172,200 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Who You Are
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Certifications or designations relevant to the field highly preferred (CPM, CSMP, CSM, PMP, Six Sigma).

About The Role
We're hiring our first dedicated IT Manager to own and scale our internal IT function as we grow toward 600+ employees globally. This role is accountable for fast and low-friction IT outcomes while helping Hightouch scale and achieve our compliance goals.
Today, we partner with a third-party IT vendor for hands-on execution. This role will own the outcomes, manage vendors, define and evolve our processes, and serve as the internal point of accountability for all things IT as we scale.
This individual will report into our Head of People Operations with a strong dotted line to our Engineering Manager.
What You'll Do IT Operations & End-User Experience
Own end-to-end IT operations, increasing speed and consistency for onboarding, offboarding, laptop lifecycle, access management, and device security

Security, Compliance & Audit Partnership
Partner closely with Security and Engineering to ensure IT processes support SOC 2 / ISO / future compliance needs
Ensure controls are implemented practically, balancing risk mitigation with employee velocity
Maintain audit-ready evidence for IT-owned controls and workflows
Help evolve guardrails, automation, and policies so audits are predictable - not fire drills

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Manager to oversee all IT functions at SEED, DC. This role is critical in supporting our students and staff by ensuring seamless network operations, reliable technology infrastructure, and robust cybersecurity measures. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the IT Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure in alignment with The SEED Foundation's network guidance and best practices.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain the school's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
Implement network security measures to protect the network from cyber threats. Manage network access controls, including user authentication and authorization.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other network devices. Manage user accounts and permissions.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures. Implement and maintain system security measures, such as antivirus software and intrusion detection systems.
Provide technical support to staff and students, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
Document network configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Manage the inventory of school-owned devices, including laptops, tablets, and other technology equipment. Coordinate device distribution and collection processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with school-owned devices.
Ensure devices are configured and updated with the latest software and security patches.
Stay up to date on technology standards and best practices. Implement and maintain network and security configurations in accordance with these standards.
Participate in regular technology audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
Plan and execute network-related projects, such as network upgrades or new system implementations. Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure project success.
Align project plans with the organization's overall technology strategy. Work collaboratively with other network administrators to share best practices and troubleshoot issues.
Develop and deliver technology-related professional development sessions and training opportunities for students and staff
Develops and manages the annual IT budget.
Tracks and controls expenditures to ensure budgetary compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field.
Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE) are preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration.
Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) to support remote work and collaboration.
Proficiency in MDM solutions to manage and secure school-owned devices.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Experience with network security and cybersecurity best practices.
Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Experience with server administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
