About the role
We are looking to add a Level 2 IT Support Technician - Security Specialist to our growing IT Support team. As a Level 2 IT Support Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the physical security and safety of our company's premises, assets, and employees. You will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols and procedures to safeguard our people and property. You will also provide Physical Security Support functions related to the activities and operations of Riot Platforms, Inc. This is a hybrid position based out of our Corsicana facility.
Essential Functions
* Provide support to users by being the first point of contact for error reporting.
* Resolve user technical issues related to computers, phones, tablets, and other office systems.
* Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
* Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on Windows and other operating systems.
* Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation for a knowledge base and self-service portal.
* Manage inventory and users in various systems.
* Assist the security team with regular security assessments of Riot Platforms' physical facilities to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary improvements.
* Assist with the support and maintenance of the Company's access control system and video management system, as well as the integration of other safety and security subsystems, i.e., intrusion detection.
* Use Physical Access Control System (PACS) to manage, operate, and maintain the physical security systems associated with the control and monitoring of the access control.
* Coordinate with guard services and alarm monitoring companies to ensure the efficient and effective provision of security services.

The IT Manager is responsible for leading the IT infrastructure and support for the business with an emphasis on network and cyber security. This position is responsible for developing the strategy and delivering a stable and secure environment to support the needs of a business spanning multiple sites within the US and across the globe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight of comprehensive cyber security tools and processes to protect the business from threats, including the following:

Maintain accurate and relevant system and network diagrams and documentation as changes are implemented.
Develop and maintain playbooks for network and server updates as required to maintain a secure and stable system environment.
Develop, maintain and perform routine disaster exercises to ensure backup links to sites and disaster recovery procedures are kept in practice.
Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving all network issues falling between OSI Layers 1-7.
Oversee support for Windows servers, workstations & other troubleshooting needs.
Recommend the selection, design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of business solutions.
Oversee vendor management across a range of service providers including outsourced MSP provider, telecom, software, etc. . .
Maintain business relationships with business technology partners to provide support in managing company footprint.
Support IT Applications and infrastructure for ERP systems.
Participate in On-call rotation in order to support the various time zones the company operates in as well as to assist manufacturing staff during extended shifts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of related progressive experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting & monitoring LAN/WAN network performance & associated hardware.
Aruba and Cisco network experience preferred.

A major responsibility of all instructional personnel is to meet every scheduled class period for classes that meet regularly. Instructors shall not dismiss or change class meeting hours, dates, or classrooms without prior approval from the appropriate Dean or Administrator. Instructors must not permit outside interests to interfere with their obligations to students. All full-time faculty members may be required to teach at locations away from their primary location, including dual credit courses, and weekend or evening classes.
The XR Lab Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and management of a diverse portfolio of applications that will provide immersive learning experiences to students and faculty. This role requires a versatile skill set encompassing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) projects, along with the ability to lead projects independently.
The faculty responsibilities are approximately 60% of the role, and the XR Lab Coordinator responsibilities are approximately 40% of the role.

Information Technology Consultant Job In Corsicana, TX
The IT/AV Support Specialist is responsible for assisting College faculty, staff and students with the use of information technology, classroom technology via documentation, telephone, e-mail, and/or in person. Provides technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all College computer users as well as video conferencing, event functions and classroom technology. The position will work closely with the Information Technology and Media Integration Services Center (MISC) Directors in all duties of the office.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides technical support and solves the basic and more advanced routine user hardware and software problems or questions including desktop computer hardware and software and enterprise system software.
* Installs, updates, and maintains end user and lab PCs, printers, and other endpoint devices.
* Provides professional, courteous, prompt, and accurate support and solutions to users.
* Communicates, analyzes, and troubleshoots user problems and provides proper solutions or remedies.
* Establishes priorities on Service Desk tickets based on established departmental guidelines and procedures. Properly documents problem ticket in online Service Desk System and follows up and communicates ticket information to users when appropriate.
* Assists other IT technical staff as requested.
* Identifies complex, multi-faceted problems and takes immediate action to address them.
* Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.
* Keep an inventory of repairing location audio-visual equipment.
* Set up audio-visual equipment for location and community events and functions.
* Train instructional staff in the use of presentation equipment and methodologies.
* Assists in the installation, operation, and maintenance of location audio-visual equipment.
* Assists in the development of audio-visual presentations.
* Assists in the development of the MISC budget, including making purchasing recommendations and cost comparisons.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Understanding of general audio/visual hardware/software troubleshooting and repair.
* Understanding of desktop hardware/software troubleshooting and repair.
* Ability to learn new technologies and understand similarities and key differences.
* Highly skilled at explaining technical subjects to non-technical as well as technical customers.
* Ability to prioritize tasks to be completed in the short-term.
* Detailed understanding of Windows operating systems.
* Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, as well as Service Desk and departmental guidelines and operating procedures.
* Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the college community, including the ability to exercise patience, tact and good judgment in dealing with end users.
* Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours when necessary, and occasional weekends.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
* Two (2) years of related work experience in either IT and/or AV.
* Associates degree.
* Microsoft certifications.
* A + Certification (additional experience and education may be substituted for certification).
* Advanced experience in desktop hardware/software troubleshooting and repair.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
* Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
* Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and proof of automobile insurance as travel to other locations may be required.

SALARY: $36,747. annually (This is a 12 month position to be paid over 12 months)
