The purpose of the IT Services Consultant is to generate sales revenue by marketing and selling the full line of Managed IT Services. Individuals must have the ability to identify qualified prospects, listen to the customer, gather their business requirements, and create a unique, customized solution building a long-term continuous partnership.
Sales Process Management:

Utilizing a consultative sales approach, identify prospects by cold calling, follow up with existing customers as needed, network and promote lead activity.
Perform needs analysis, embrace continuous education on current technology best practices, prepare and present proposals, and effectively communicate the Elevity solution.
Meet or exceed activity targets and sales goals.
Organize and plan your time for maximum productivity.
Relationship build, staying aware of customers' applications, needs and wants as a strategic partner.
Follow up to ensure customer's satisfaction, promoting loyalty that will result in repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2 years previous business to business solution sales experience. Successful track record in selling and exceeding goals.
Demonstrated high energy level; extremely motivated to succeed.
Hunger to learn and apply technology solutions to solve customer problems.
Accountable for results; must be a self-starter with a track record of achieving goals.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with and work well with others in various fast changing environments/situations leveraging strong networking and listening skills.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Valid Driver's license
Access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Information Technology Consultant Skill level 2. Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Conducts cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network. Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network. May be assigned responsibility for the management of the systems administration function, including associated staff.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Consult in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies
• Provide highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems
• Perform complex analyses and studies
• Prepare reports and presentations
• Manage Government directed project work
• Complete medium to large complex projects and major phases or very large projects
• Perform the fact-finding, analysis, and development of hypothesis/conclusions, production of final recommendation reports and deliver of presentation
• Deliver project on time and to budget
• Provide technical input towards architecture discussions through technical and best practice consultation

Skill level 2 qualifications:

• Ten (10) years' experience in the Information Technology Field is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional IT experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Additional requirements:

• Must have experience with Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and IP Address Management (IPAM) collectively known as DDI.
  Experience with Infoblox is a plus
