The Independence IT Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information technology and digital infrastructure solutions within the organization. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and hardware components. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Willingness to learn and apply Unilever Specific policies and infrastructure design. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Proven experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or similar role preferred. • Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity best practices. • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation. • Project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles. • Familiarity with industrial control systems and instrumentation. Pay: The pay range for this position is $69,360 to $104,040.
