**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ **InTouch Center & Front Line Support**
+ Provide after-hours on-call telephone support and direct escalation support to Customer Engineers and Customer Solution Specialists (CSS). Mentor CSS to improve call resolution and author product knowledge articles to increase effectiveness. Establish and monitor procedures to maintain the integrity and quality of the Service problem/solution database.
+ Partner with Service field leadership to identify, escalate, and resolve customer issues through the Alert process. Recommend corrective actions based on product expertise, provide on-site support when required, and develop escalation pathways to CMSC (Japan) and Canon Medical Research (CMRU). Standardize and disseminate critical technical information, develop troubleshooting flowcharts, and recommend tools or equipment that improve productivity and reduce costs. Identify potential product issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve alert and escalation processes.
+ **InnerVision Development**
+ Define future functional and feature needs for InnerVision based on field experience. Assist with testing, deployment, and optimization of upgrades and enhancements. Develop and refine internal processes using Best Practice principles to support daily operational needs.
+ **CMSC & NPI Support**
+ Differentiate product issues from routine service issues and investigate root causes. Serve as a technical liaison between Front Line teams and CMSC to identify, quantify, and resolve ongoing product concerns. Provide technical expertise to the CMSU Business Unit during NPI activities.
+ **Training Academy Support**
+ Contribute technical knowledge to the development of training curriculum aligned with evolving business needs. Support instructional delivery, lab oversight, and competency assessments as required.
+ **Overall Service & Business Performance**
+ Analyze InTouch cases to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes across processes, hardware, software, and logistics. Develop and promote standardized troubleshooting methodologies, technical bulletins, and best practices that improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Establish measurement systems, influence service information systems, and provide financial impact analysis to support profitability-driven corrective actions.

Staging and imaging of Windows and Apple Computers
Shipping, receiving and disposal of IT equipment
Inspect, test and clean returned IT equipment.
Sort, organize, and store IT equipment in proper location.
Update and maintain accurate equipment inventory.
Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in depot as needed.
Keep depot area organized and clean.
Update systems and tickets for returned equipment.
Assist in other areas of the depot as needed.

Windows and Apple hardware and software troubleshooting skills and experience

Essential Functions
Advance troubleshooting and problem solving of workstation hardware and peripherals.
Advance troubleshooting and problem solving of standard workstation software (locally installed) such as operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and applications.
Installation and troubleshooting of base software image and standard workstation applications.
Provide “out of warranty” hardware repair and upgrade services to workstations.
Network printer and multi-function device support including basic troubleshooting, set-up and configuration services.
Support Point-of-sale (POS) systems including terminals, peripherals, application, and coordination of hardware repair with vendor.
Support handheld devices including hardware, build/configuration, and software system patching, updates, and deployment of software packages.
Assist in the replacement of switch and other network equipment and with data/voice cross connect changes (demark extensions, switch port to patch panel connection) including phone moves.
Provide troubleshooting and support for technology devices including but not limited to IP based cameras, card readers, iPads, and time clocks.
Participate in assigned projects and assist the Project Manager in delivering a high level of project quality.
Provide on-call or after-hours support to assist employees with emergency problems.

Job Conditions
This position will require travel, up to 20% of the time. Visits to regional locations can be expected under all weather conditions. Physical hazards may be present due to the equipment and machinery used throughout the worksite. This position will require work beyond normally scheduled hours at times to support operations.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Three to five years of demonstrated helpdesk, desktop-peripheral support, and/or field service technician experience.
Valid Driver's License and licensed vehicle for support visits to area stores.
Ideal Competencies
Experience with point-of-sale systems and/or handheld devices preferred (based on location).
A+ Certification preferred.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job Duties and Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
You'll visit customers' homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home tech.
Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers' homes
Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Valid Driver's License: Clean record required
