We are looking for a Entry Level IT Generalist to support a project for our client that is a nonprofit in Los Angeles, CA.
Who we’re looking for


We are seeking an individual with at least one year of relevant experience in application and database administration, design, implementation, and support. Successful candidates will have relevant working experience in and knowledge of:

Microsoft Active Directory Business collaboration and productivity platforms such as Office 365 and G Suite
Networked computer installation and troubleshooting Enterprise security and anti-virus scanning applications POS, Ticketing, Fundraising, and Donor Engagement Systems, preferably Tessitura Website and CMS Business analytics/intelligence and reporting tools
End-user support and training Policies and procedures development



Key responsibilities include the following:


Support design, development, implementation, and administration of applications, including new application installation, current application maintenance including upgrades, system performance monitoring, tuning, and necessary follow-up Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and user support; consult with the team, management, and customers as needed. Participate in solution evaluation, testing, deployment, and end-user training while working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Coordinate and document application administration activities following established procedures – review/fulfill user requests, device setup, account management, hardware/software inventory tracking, application copy/backup/restore, bug fixes, and upgrades.
Monitor and maintain vendor contracts, services, and subscriptions to ensure an optimal level of service and integration. Participate in regulatory compliance requirements: PCI DSS, CCPA. Participate in cybersecurity, operational continuity, and disaster recovery activities required by the business. Assist with budget planning by providing technology acquisition, operation, and maintenance costs. Stay current with broader industry and technology trends and update job knowledge by participating in educational/developmental opportunities

We are seeking an IT Generalist for our office in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing technology through the use of tools and scripting. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the areas of Linux administration, VM Ware, Windows and storage. This individual organizes, leads and coordinates with other parts of IT to ensure components of overall systems are managed properly.
Essential Functions

+ Designs and develops complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance of Garmin's virtualized Linux and Windows server environments.

+ Performs and evaluates costs analyses and vendor comparisons form small through large scale projects to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. Measures feasibility of various approaches and makes recommendations

+ Provides 24x7 on-call support

+ Continuously develops technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging server, storage, load balancer, and open source systems and other virtualization and cloud technologies

+ Communicates effectively regarding system operations and environment changes

+ Adheres to SOX, PCI, and other regulatory requirements as dictated

+ Demonstrates an understanding of Garmin's Change Control process and upholds the importance of compliance.

+ Understands and avoids capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of server, storage, load balancer, and other open source systems.

+ Ensures that all security requirements are met or exceeded

+ Performs and plans version upgrades

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field AND a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)

+ Ability to author and implement basic scripting and coding to automate technical needs such as to move files, backup, create configuration, or other tasks

+ Demonstrates ability to solve moderately complex technical problems independently

+ Demonstrates experience in successful implementation of technology solutions

+ Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization

+ Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)

Overview of Role

Rothschild & Co as an organisation requires a high quality and responsive IT service for busy professionals. The organisation is committed to excellence and discretion in the services provided to its clients, and needs similarly high standards in support of its own staff. Rothschild & Co is building a strong IT Operations Support team to support the business in its ambitious strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have a varied, hands-on role as a member of the IT Operations team; taking responsibility for the operation, maintenance and support of the banks' internal and client facing business applications. As a member of a small team, the candidate must be solution oriented, flexible, willing to take ownership and have the ability to work independently.

Main tasks:
Operations - oversees and executes day-to-day activities for the banks' business applications Operations - Ensuring system processes are scheduled and monitored during business hours and outside of business hours when providing stand by support Project work - Installing/upgrading applications and interfaces using automation and based on a banking security standard Incident & Problem Management - Assist in continual improvement of systems through careful analysis of issues and their underlying root causes Service Management - Coordination with external parties providing infrastructure and application services Project Management - Management of smaller technical IT projects eg. infrastructure changes or introduction of a new service

Education and Qualifications
IT education or advanced training in ITSeveral years of experience in IT
