    Milliman's Indianapolis Health practice is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT Support Team. This role ensures that all of our technology is in seamless working order for current and incoming staff, approximately 250+ people and growing. Our end-user systems include: hardware, network storage, software, networking and telecommunications. In addition to your technical knowledge, this individual should have customer-oriented communication skills to effectively manage a wide variety of tickets and resolve critical issues with the utmost urgency. There is no typical day for this role, however, common tasks include: setting up workstation equipment, running diagnostics in a remote session, and answering an ambiguous helpdesk ticket. Each day you will use your expertise to provide solutions in response to a wide variety of requests. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their tech support experience, customer service skills, and is ready to develop additional skills in a consulting and professional services environment. Responsibilities Depending on your rating (AE or AT), you may: Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems, including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, and laser electronics. Maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems. Test and calibrate aircraft instruments and automatic flight controls. Perform micro-miniature module repair on circuit cards. Install modifications to aircraft electronics systems. Operate diagnostic equipment and read electrical diagrams. Work Environment AV technicians serve at sea and ashore worldwide. Work may be performed in hangars, onboard aircraft carriers, in labs, or outdoors on flight lines. Youll work closely with other technicians, often with minimal supervision, in both technical and operational settings. Training & Advancement Class A Technical School Pensacola, FL (1826 weeks) Covers aviation theory, electrical systems, electronics theory, and technical skills. After training, Sailors are assigned to AE or AT ratings and may serve at naval air stations, squadrons, or aboard carriers. Advanced training is available for specific aircraft and systems.
