EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: AA degree in Information Technology or at least 1-year prior analytical reporting, quality reporting, or other healthcare reporting experience desired At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL, IBM Cognos, or other similar reporting platforms. Prior experience in report writing and data analysis is highly desirable. Prior experience in a health care environment, specifically a FQHC, is an asset. Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL databases Experience with Electronic Medical/Dental Records system required. SKILL & ABILITIES: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The IT Specialist ensures that all IT services operate efficiently and comply with tribal, state, federal, and NIGC requirements. This role is comparable to IT support positions in tribal gaming commissions, tribal casinos, and regulatory bodies nationwide. It requires strong troubleshooting skills, confidentiality, adherence to regulatory procedures, the ability to work in fast-paced environments, and readiness to support operations outside normal business hours when necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and approved software. Install and configure hardware and software according to Commission standards. Assist with daily operation of the IT Department, ensuring smooth functioning of IT systems in a 24/7 regulatory environment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; escalate unresolved issues to the IT Director.
