Job Summary
The Helpdesk Technician serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical support and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service for company-supported computer applications and platforms. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing guidance on appropriate solutions, and ensuring timely follow-up. The technician also performs routine daily tasks, maintains documentation, and contributes to special departmental projects to enhance IT operations and user experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to employees in person, by phone, or email, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware, software, and mobile device issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals; perform routine maintenance and repairs.
Log and track help desk interactions, escalate urgent issues, and follow up to ensure complete resolution.
Maintain system security, data integrity, and user access credentials; simulate and recreate user issues for troubleshooting.
Assist in updating training materials and provide user training as needed.
Support IT projects, prepare reports, and collaborate with vendors on upgrades and maintenance.
Monitor and report recurring issues to management; stay current with system updates and industry trends.
Maintain accurate inventory of desktop and printing equipment.
Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations including BSA/AML and OSHA standards.
Promote a respectful, inclusive, and ethical work environment aligned with the Bank's values and goals.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent technical training and 2+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, desktop applications, and mobile device platforms.

* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

This position ensures that technology assets are tracked, received, recovered, deployed, and retired in a controlled manner, and fulfills requests for ordering hardware and software. The IT Provisioning Specialist may also assist with the configuration of higher-level equipment such as firewalls, servers, virtual machines, and the implementation of new offices, as experience allows.
How You Will Contribute
Configure IOS/ Windows10 assets
Assist in the tracking and management of all IT assets throughout its operating life.
Maintain department's stock, accessories, and supplies at a reasonable level.
Update “Mobile Device Management” software with new assets.
Work with the Helpdesk team on coordinating assets.
Assemble workstations for new employees.
Monitor incoming ticket requests for IT assets.
Create and implement plans to dispose of hardware assets.
Distribute configured assets.
Restore damaged assets.
Receive initial telephone or ticket inquiries via Help Desk portal.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
On-site troubleshooting of standard hardware issues (e.g., desk phones, computer, printers).
Ensure that requests for assets are relayed to appropriate staff members.
Apply asset peripherals.
Organize set-ups for special events/meetings.
Ship employee's equipment to remote sites as requested.
Cross train and support other IT departments when needed.
Receive IT equipment delivered to IT; log received equipment, verify their contents, ensure they match purchase order, store securely, conduct periodic inventories, and log distribution.
Track assets utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Work closely with multiple departments to support IT operations.
Occasionally travel to other offices and job sites as needed, including overnight stays.
What You Bring to the Table
Must be knowledgeable about Microsoft 365(Office 365), computer systems, and IOS devices.
Able to Configure software and hardware.
Excellent personal computer, mobile device, network, and printer troubleshooting technical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly easy to understand language.
Proficiency in Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating systems.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Class C Driver's License; clean driving record
